Just got back from a great two night stay at The Berburry. Hosts Wendy and Steve are lovely very welcoming and nothibgvtoo much trouble. The rooms and general areas are impeccably clean, the breakfasts were beautiful, plenty of locally sourced food, very filling, and the homemade yogurts are beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful weekend stay, we will certainly return. Loved the welcoming hospitality. Leigh & Martin

This is a lovely hotel and steve and wendy are brilliant hosts theres nothing thats too much trouble. The food and accomodation is excellent ***** it gets 5 stars from me

We had a pleasant stay with super nice hosts Wendy and Steve. The breakfast was fantastic. There are several choices on the menu and it is cooked to order. Conveniently located to Torquay beaches .

Katrina and her daughter were just amazing to welcome us. Katrina was helping all guests for their accommodation and heling in the kitchen with a great and real smile which anyone could see behind the mask where her daughter was helping with the breakfast in a most pleasant manner and we would like to stay their again. One of the downfall is the softest spring mattress.

The breakfast was very good but the bed was bad you could feel and here the springs movinge

We had a lovely stay at The Berburry. There's enough space on site to park, and it was about 15 minutes walk to the riviera. Our host was very friendly and the breakfast was great. Room was clean and cosy. Bathroom was larger than you'd expect.

Cleanliness very good, staff friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were excellent. It was a 5 minute walk to the front, very nice through the Abbey.

Very clean room, comfy bed and lovely breakfast. The hotel is also 5 minutes walk to the seafront.

we liked the décor and cleanliness of the hotel, had a bit of trouble finding it, when found we were very pleased and it was near to the riveria centre as advertised , so we were able to walk there and back

Every thing was superb. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was very accommodating and nothing was too much. We will certainly go back again

The location of the Berburry is excellent, five minutes walk to the seafront, ten minutes to the town centre.

Lovely looking building although rather awkward to get into the car park. Pleasant and helpful staff, very good breakfast.

Excellent facilities lovely old house but with modern amenities, tasteful gardens, lovely food.Car parking difficult, but useful to have, but easy parking on the adjacent road.

Friendly helpful staff, very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent btrakfast. We were later arriving than anticipated but received text from Adam explaining how to access the building and our room details. Made to feel welcome and valued guests.

Lovely hotel short walk to the sea , room was beautiful and clean nice extra touches bottled water biscuits and robes. Breakfast was great lovely fresh fruit and excellent for gluten free .

Overall good,hotel is spotless clean with lots of communal space,only had breakfast which were brilliant,good choice and very well prepared,our room was a little cramped and bathroom on small side,managed a peak in a couple of other rooms that were being cleaned and they were a lot bigger with better views(probably need to book earlier next time).Also bed was very hard,okay for me but my partner has now got a bad back.
