No room cleaning done

The Hotel was ok. The Staff was excellent. The room was just ok. Selection TV was not good. Heating system was not good.

The hotel had no food/roomservice except for eventual breakfast. You could not get lunch or dinner at the hotel. They had nothing to chew on. They had an empty minibar, and the bar was not manned all times.The staff was polite except for ONE. She wouldn´t say hello when all the other did this at all times. She did not open the door to us by pressing the button before we give her our room number through intercom. It was heavy rain and we couldn´t just remember the room number at that second, we got all wet cause of her, terrible lady. I´m 37 years old and I spend almost 70 nights at hotels every year, I have never experienced a worse staff at any hotel in any country.

The room and conditions were as I expected. Room ventilation and heating was not working very well.

The hotel was good but unfortunately the air conditioning had broken down throughout the whole hotel and was unlikely to be repaired until at least the end of June I was told. This made it very hot with 29 degree temperatures outside. Having to have the windows open caused noise from the busy main line railway as the hotel overlooks the railway station, so sleep was very limited due to the noise and the heat.

Needed a place to stay for the night and Intercity fit the bill. The staff was friendly, and the hotel was great value. The location is phenomenal as it’s right next to the central station. I would stay here again.

1 terrible pillow and the thinnest mattress meant almost zero sleep

Nice hotel and staff. Let down by breakfast which was poor choice. Ok it might be due to Covid but they still charge 17 Euro.

It is a comfortable hotel with paying parking and breakfast buffet.

The ubication is so good and I was sorprised when I got a free pass to use railroad for all the days in my staying.

Booked an executive room; it was on the top floor of the hotel. After checking into the room (approximately 6pm) we noticed it was very warm. I contacted the front desk and was assured the air conditioning was on. As we left for dinner I requested that they have engineering check our air conditioning as the room didn’t seem to be cooling off. We The room overlooked the main train station so leaving windows open was not acceptable. Upon returning to our room it had not cooled at all. The clerk found us a room on a lower floor, a downgraded class with one window. It quickly became obvious that this t very was no better. Additionally, this hotel does not have portable fans. I asked to speak to a manager, and was contacted by one who was at home. Indifferent seemed to be the attitude. Eventually they moved to the first floor, ended up leaving the window open, and got very little sleep. This situation could have been avoided had I been informed the air conditioning was off ion my initial inquiry. I would have gotten a room at a different hotel. As it was, this situation was ‘resolved,’ unsatisfactorily, at around 11pm. I don’t know if it’s fair to blame the hotel, Orr the booking site, however, it left a very negative impression. The downgraded room isn’t the source of the rating, though they felt no refund of the rate was due

What i didn't like for $246.00 the TV had no HDMI connection. The parking was expansive for the hotel. If you wanted to check out early you didnt get refunded the money for the day you didnt stay. There was dust behind the television. The air conditioner didnt work properly. There was no iron in the room. Paying for a standard room that much is still too much. The staff was great other than that. The price wasn't worth it.

The room was next to the main train station. Opening the window means noise from the train throughout the night. Air-conditioning did not work. So sleeping was not that comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Lack of kettle and possibility to make our own tea and coffee was quite an inconvenience which we have never experienced in a hotel room before. Even staff in reception was slightly embarrassed when asked. Air condition was not working properly. We had it on -1 degree and it was not really cooling the room.

The hotel's location is very good. The staff were great and friendly. The Breakfast was fantastic and the room very clean and tidy.

Good location maids knocked on my door... At noon on the dot as I was on my way out to basically push me out to clean. I told them I'd be out in a minute and the short one had a serious attitude and showed me her phone time. I complained to front desk.

Nice location, good value. Delicious breakfast. Easy to get around Frankfurt area and right by a bus that goes to the airport.

We booked the Inter City Hotel in Darmstadt as we were late booking our hotel for the Frankfurt Fair and it was difficult to find a Hotel in the City. There was a Bus at the Airport that took us straight to Darmstadt main Train Station for Euro 8-60 and the Hotel was right next to the station so that was easy and then it was only a 15 minute train journey in to the City. It was so easy we intend to make this the Hotel of our choice for future Fairs in Frankfurt. The Hotel also gives you a free pass to use the local Transport and with the Trams stopping right outside the Hotel it was easy to take a Tram to the Centre Square to find a Restaurant. I also left something in my room and the Staff were very helpful in finding it and putting it somewhere safe.

Excellent for travelling without a car. Free ticket for bus and tram, which goes directly to the city center in a few minutes. Ticket valid as far as Grube Messel. Right next to train station, still not noisy as there are good windows, and not a bad area. Nice, modern design. Very good breakfast buffet.

The hotel is next to the train station which is also the main tram and bus hub including the coach from Frankfurt station 30 minutes away. Despite backing on the railway the bedrooms were quiet. The hotel is close to the city centre about 15 minute walk or 5 minutes with the free travel pass the hotel provides. Bedrooms are a good size and very clean but a bit lacking in some areas. The bed was ok but the pillow had no support and the towels were thin. Breakfast is ok with a good selection of hot and cold food.
