If someone does not have transportation it is easy to walk to shopping areas.

We have stayed in Hibiscus twice previously and it was indeed lovely and well kept. Unfortunately, it has gone down hill. The whirlpool was extremely dirty, some areas need updating, especially the bathroom. The service was great. The receptionist and bartender was very friendly. It’s just the building that needs improvement and the sorting area at the front did not have the greatest of smells. Please Hibiscus management's do your best to get this gem of a place sparking again.

In the heart of Ocho Rios, easy walk to ATM and shops. Security guard on duty 24 hours. Rooms clean. Staff are top notch. Extremely pleasant and fun. I will definitely stay again. Hidden Gem

I usually don’t leave bad reviews. But Hibiscus front desk person needs to get some training on hospitality. Check in she (front desk lady) was not smiling or did not explain about the lunch or dinner hours. Only breakfast……. That’s is what I wanted to stay there for more convenient for me & my 73 year old aunt. Every time I would come to ask anything she was very snappy. For future reference for this place Hibiscus please note that if you’re staying in a standard room that you all don’t give WASH TOWELS (face towel) for your guests. So happy I travel with everything I need. TV IS A NOT WORKING…. Ask to get help to work TV….when I checked in & no one came to fix the TV my whole stay. I was told this was a non smoking place . & persons was smoking on there balcony weed & cigarettes… so I followed the rules and instructions & smoked my cigarettes by the road. Good day & god bless your soul

Place is really nice

This hotel is lovely for a short stay. Very nice garden area and sea view. The rooms were very clean and had sea/pool view. My only issue with the room was the toilet ceiling opens up into the room. Not great if you’re looking for a quiet stay or you are a light sleeper as there is a club across the road which you can hear all night. I love that there is like a private viewing platform of the sea (not a beach). Overall I would stay again for a quick stop off in ocho Rios

I liked the openness of the property and the proximity of restaurants and the breakfasts in the morning. What I didn't like was the service from the staff could have been a bit better but Jamaica is a laid back country and some people carry that tradition to work. No problem. All in all it was a great experience.

I got 4 single beds instead of 2 double beds.. The pool and Hot tub was very dirty.. reception staff wasn't very friendly

The location suited me. It was convenient to get the local transportation to go where ever I needed to.

Staff was great. Didn’t like there was no walk out sand beach.

The place very nice i give it a 9 out of 10 because there's no microwave in room and the menu for the food never change

The bartenders are our lifetime friends now! The room and property itself were so clean, inviting and just beautiful. We are already planning our next trip there because i dont want to go anywhere else! 10 stars all around!

The staff are lovely, very attentive and helpful. The place is amazing, I love the way in which the lodge is built into the rocks and around the trees, so natural and authentic, wonderful. The views are stunning. There are so many beautiful areas to relax or explore, fantastic, the gardens and little areas, just perfect. Our new go-to place in Ocho Rios. The rooms were equivalent to a motel 6. Make aure yiu bring your own wash clothes because they are not provided. The pool is small ans the jacuzzi is super small.Staff not friendly but not mean either. If your looking for a good location then this is the place but anything else. I would say no.

Staff were helpful and pleasant

Loved the property will definitely book again. I’m only giving the service a three star because on my last day the waitress/ server at breakfast wasn’t pleasant at all, younger lady with box braids. She just had a bad attitude. Like she was mad at the world. She shouldn’t work at these places if she doesn’t enjoy it.

We family and I stayed at the hotel for one night. It’s a simple and convenient hotel for a temporary stay. I wouldn’t recommend it for extended stay but maybe1-2nignts. The staff were friendly and professional. The complementary breakfast in the morning was really good!

The only bad thing was a club blasting music until 3am but its location nothing they can do about it. Everything else was great. Feels private and unique. I would stay here again.

Love the breakfast; private and family owned - which I support. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and accommodating butcher be of the front desk check in staff was brusque. It is in the middle of the town area which can be noisy but it is lively. The place was secure and I felt safe.
