I got 4 single beds instead of 2 double beds.. The pool and Hot tub was very dirty.. reception staff wasn't very friendly

The location suited me. It was convenient to get the local transportation to go where ever I needed to.

Staff was great. Didn’t like there was no walk out sand beach.

The place very nice i give it a 9 out of 10 because there's no microwave in room and the menu for the food never change

The bartenders are our lifetime friends now! The room and property itself were so clean, inviting and just beautiful. We are already planning our next trip there because i dont want to go anywhere else! 10 stars all around!

The staff are lovely, very attentive and helpful. The place is amazing, I love the way in which the lodge is built into the rocks and around the trees, so natural and authentic, wonderful. The views are stunning. There are so many beautiful areas to relax or explore, fantastic, the gardens and little areas, just perfect. Our new go-to place in Ocho Rios. The rooms were equivalent to a motel 6. Make aure yiu bring your own wash clothes because they are not provided. The pool is small ans the jacuzzi is super small.Staff not friendly but not mean either. If your looking for a good location then this is the place but anything else. I would say no.

Staff were helpful and pleasant

Loved the property will definitely book again. I’m only giving the service a three star because on my last day the waitress/ server at breakfast wasn’t pleasant at all, younger lady with box braids. She just had a bad attitude. Like she was mad at the world. She shouldn’t work at these places if she doesn’t enjoy it.

We family and I stayed at the hotel for one night. It’s a simple and convenient hotel for a temporary stay. I wouldn’t recommend it for extended stay but maybe1-2nignts. The staff were friendly and professional. The complementary breakfast in the morning was really good!

The only bad thing was a club blasting music until 3am but its location nothing they can do about it. Everything else was great. Feels private and unique. I would stay here again.

Love the breakfast; private and family owned - which I support. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and accommodating butcher be of the front desk check in staff was brusque. It is in the middle of the town area which can be noisy but it is lively. The place was secure and I felt safe.

Absolutely beautiful hotel on a cliff over looking the crystal clear blue and turquoise ocean, beautiful garden, friendly and helpful staff, not crowded and peaceful, loved it here!

I would stay there again but I will not have dinner there ever again. Shockingly slow & inconsistent quality which never passed average in quality of food.

I took my husband on a surprise Birthday trip to Jamaica & we could not hav been happier with our stay at this gem! WOW! The view was unbelievable! The staff was so amazing & so friendly, always smiling & super happy. Our room was extremely clean & so very comfortable! The coffee in the room was absolutely delicious & I'm not a coffee person! Our room overlooked the ocean & the sun room was perfect place in the afternoon to sit & just relax looking at the magnificent ocean. The bed was so comfy! We left the windows open & was lulled asleep by the sounds of the ocean & nice breeze. Would HIGHY reccomen & we cannot wait to return!

Our rooms number 11& 12 both were nice, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fee breakfast and the bartender, a very nice and courteous young man. Will return.

A very sweet and cute place to stay. Beautiful view and pool. No beach access but this is only one bit of our trip so I wasn’t fussed by that. We sat down on a little bit they have on the ocean and we watched pufferfish. We met the friendly owner who made effort with my children early one morning (which meant a lot!) and a few of the servers (one in particular quickly became our favourite) We loved breakfast (really good value) and it set us up beautifully for the day I will say that a parent travelling alone with two children, it didn’t feel very family friendly. There were no children there (not Hibiscus Lodge’s fault of course!) but it did mean I felt like I had to tell them to keep it down when they were in the pool as no one wanted to use the pool but a fair few wanted to lay by it most of the day. Equally one evening we had some disparaging looks whilst we played a board game outside our room, but it was very early and didn’t last long! Our room wasn’t anything fancy but we hadn’t asked for that and were more than happy with the simplicity. I would perhaps comment that it’s hard to shower little ones in because the floor gets very hot (I presume boiler/piping under the tiles) but that’s not a complaint. I do think the evening menu in the restaurant is a bit of a let down and a bit expensive, but there is an excellent food spot past Mahogany beach on Main Street that we visited and loved. We will be back again when they’re a bit older and less overexcited in the pool!

Mattress was too firm. Blanket was extremely thin.

Staff was friendly and kind. Grounds was clean and beautiful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, ackee and salt fish yum😋. Views of the sea was just breathtaking.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. If you are looking for a modern hotel, I would not recommend this property. If you are looking for a centrally-located property with beautiful views, island charm, and a convenient location right in the center of town this is the property for you. We enjoyed the daily breakfast and opted for the Jamaican options every morning and the staff was pleasant overall.

The property did not have a microwave available for visitors, which is inconvenient in the 21st century. Parking is an issue when there are functions being held on property. Some employees require customer service training to deal with visitors effectively.
