Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Definitely stay here again.

Spotless & quiet hotel. Rooms are spacious & beds are comfortable. The pool area is nice. The gentleman who was keeping the breakfast area was an absolute gem! Very friendly (as was all of the staff) & right on top of things! Large selection for breakfast.

Only complaint, pop machine ripped me off

This was a month ago. I forgot to send the review. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good and hot. Well supplied. The indoor pool and hot tub were the biggest we have ever seen at a hotel. The only negative item was the amount of clorine in the pool. Or lack of ventilation. You couldn't stay in the area for very long.

Clean spacious room. Friendly reception. Room could use more lighting options. Was dark with all lights on if drapes weren’t open. Liked option of hard boiled eggs and apples for breakfast. Would be great if there was a less sugary option for cereal and healthier yogurt option ( less sugar)

There are absolutely no amenities. No shampoo, no conditioner, no hair dryer etc. I tiny slice of soap is all they provide. The receptionist was not friendly and acted as though we were interrupting her phone time.

All staff were accommodating and friendly, the check-in process was easy and fast, the room was clean, and it was easy to connect to the airport.

Can't cross road to get in Motel or awesome Quik Star . Cedar Rapids like most cities is run by MORONS. All roads lead to Caseys',,,,

Very clean. Nice staff.

I arrived late and left early. No water in toilet - could not be turned on at the base - and TB volume stopped functioning. I was not inclined to spend the late night moving rooms or waiting for the fix. Clearly no housekeeping superfisor had cleared the room for occupancy.

Great hotel, friendly staff. The only issue for me was that they are firm mattresses and I prefer a softer one for comfort.

Everything was fine about the hotel but my room door would not lock unless I pushed very firmly to latch it.

Checking in was easy, has a nice pool and hot tub. Only thing I could complain about is that you have to pay for a shuttle bus to the airport.

Americinn Hotel Cedar Rapids On Saturday Jun 22, 2024 we arrived less than an hour early with reservations for three rooms and were told in an unfriendly manner that we could not check in early we had to wait until 3 o’clock . We were told no rooms were ready. Asked how many rooms were in the hotel and were told they had 60 total rooms. But still could not check in . We asked if they had a storage room we could put our luggage in for the approximate hour and were told no. Even after we did check in they had breakfast chairs stacked upside down in the lobby which did not portray a friendly welcoming atmosphere. We inquired about an ARP discount and were told that since we booked through Expedia there was no discount available. The room was definitely not up to current standards in the industry. The television was old and the color was off. There was a water leak behind the toilet. To take a shower you had to step over a tub that was higher than normal and it was slicker than expected. The room rate was higher than some relatively new Holiday Inn Expresses that we stayed at on this trip. Thus we will never stay at an Americinn again.

We have stayed here many times. The staff is always helpful, the room was clean and quiet, and the breakfast has many good options.

I really like the design of the lobby

My wife and I were traveling back from MN with her mother, so we had two rooms. The mother-in-law's room had a horrific odor, which tried to be masked with some sort of air freshener. She hadn't unpacked, so we asked for a different room. The front desk clerk told me that there were no other rooms available, even though there were only 6 cars in the parking lot ( a total of 15 cars by morning). I asked the front desk clerk to come smell the room, and she claimed she couldn't smell anything. We left a window and the room door open for 3 hours while we went to dinner and the odor got some better. In our room the dead bolt and the bathroom fan didn't work. Is it understaffed or perhaps being renovated?

It was a good location.
