The service was great. The room clean, bed excellent, there’s construction going on so part of the hotel is closed. The rooms are not very modern and are very basic. Nothing fancy. The room was noisy. Breakfast excellent. It is close to the main plaza, it’s quite a walk to come back at night.

Beautiful property, incredible views, stunning pool. We loved this place for our family. The only thing we didn't like was the restaurant, we really disliked our dinner there and found the staff very slow and seemed confused. We left the hotel for dinners after that, but breakfast was good. One of the best hotel pools I've seen, kids loved the play room. Hot tubs were empty due to water restrictions.

It was absolutely beautiful property and the staff were fabulous. The birds and flowers were beautiful af just magical. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the balcony. It was just lovely. The spa and massages were wonderful. We had great mani pendis. We felt so at ease and relaxed. It’s truly a magical place.

The property is like an old mission. Pretty neat. What I didn’t like is the noise level of music all night long. Then, there was banging on gongs by 5 in the morning. Was not happy at all.

This hotel is truly a hidden jewel, tucked on the base of the hill this place will give its guests amazing views and a super cool colonial atmosphere. Breakfast is included and the food is pretty good. To go to the main square and the town in general you can walk “a nice 2 mile walk” or they will let you borrow a bicycle or you can drive if you have a car. The fact that the hotel isn’t next to the main square gives it a secluded private set up. Staff and service personel very polite and responsive, didn’t get to use the pool but it sure look tempting.
In all I strongly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Villa de Leyva!

It’s like a standstill in history. Absolutely no renovations, no upgrades of any kind, rooms are TINY.....just seems like the same hotel from 30 years ago. If they’re going to claim to be pet friendly, pets should not be required to sleep in a dog shed. It’s either this or an 80,000 peso additional charge. Took my tiny Yorkie to breakfast (outdoor courtyard) and was told dogs were not allowed. Next morning “Victoria”, a large labrador was there and I was told that dog is allowed because it’s the “hotel dog”. Ridiculous, ALL rules should apply for all.

Hotel was amazing! They have several rooms with antiques like telephones, sewing machines and several other things!
The staff was very friendly! The pool was awesome!
Everything was great, but the best part was the views of the sunsets, the city and the mountains. I can’t say enough about the place, it was incredible!!!!
We will definitely stay there again!!!!

This place is peaceful, it’s a couple of block from town. Location is great, staff is very kind and caring to supply all the guest’s needs. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to be in a quite place.

Such a gorgeous place. The hotel is beautiful. The place is very calm and quite. Decoration is lovely. Wifi works very well. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The dinner and breakfast were copious. Fresh fruits and fruit juices. We loved every moment and the only regret we have is not spending an extra day here.

This is a magical place where you can truly relax. If you are from a big city and need a real relaxing getaway then this would be the hotel of your dreams. The grounds full of beautiful flowers and the amenities are endless. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, but their services close too early. Doesn’t matter if Sunday is slow day, a hotel of this category doesn’t close the dining room at 8:00 pm. Dinning room should always be open minimum to 10:00 pm. People travel a long way to do not have the services to at least 10:00 pm, same with the Spa, pool, massages, etc. The hotel is beautiful but need to offer the services of this era, no like 20 years ago

Villa de Leyva was really nice, we had a good time with family and friends. Hotel is nice, a few blocks away from the main plaza. Food and rooms are Ok, not impressive, but definitely good for the money you pay.
