Lovely hotel we have been here a few times and love it can't wait to be back.
Great location easy walk to town, loads of great restaurants and bars.

Room totally unacceptable. Bathroom facilities well below standard. Outside lighting not working putting the car park in complete darkness. Was informed this had been the situation for a while but no steps had been taken to rectify promptly. Health & safety is not in their agenda.

Have stayed at the Yarrow several times, and it’s never let me down, nice size rooms, clean, comfortable, and a decent breakfast too

The last time I stayed at the Yarrow I wasn't very happy as I felt, from the check in time, a lack of hospitality. I left a not so great review. It is only fair to amend my thoughts publically, as this time the hospitality was evident from the start and the whole experience was delightful. Check in was wonderful, the room had some sustainablly-minded solutions where there weren't before and the breakfast was great. Highly recommend the Yarrow!

We have stayed at the yarrow several times, and again it was the perfect stay, room very good size, very clean with everything you'd expect , tea, coffee try, bottles of water, biscuits, fresh milk available from reception, just ring and they will bring it to your room. Lovely white towels, toiletries in bathroom, air con / heating plenty of hanging space, desk with hairdyer and lots plug sockets 10/10
We had a tasting menu booked, which again was very good.

Great hotel in a great location. Amazing service. If a wheelchair user, the main entrance is not suitable for use, and the back door doesn’t work, so make sure get someone who can get things organised to gain an entry.

Wonderful stay in this lovely close to town hotel. The room was big and spacious. The breakfast should suit everyone as it was very varied, cooked, pastries, fruit and cold cheese and meat. The lounge and bar are very comfortable we were however disappointed that the bar closed at 10pm. If I was being picky I would like to see glasses in the room and maybe some body lotion. But all in all it was a wonderful and we will be back.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Yarrow Hotel.The double bed was very comfortable and the service was excellent
Friendly staff
Only downside for us was that it wasn’t a walk in shower and we had to climb into the bath to have a shower

Good with a couple of niggles, small double bed in quite a small room, were used to a king size. check in not til 3 and check out at 11, I thought normally check out would be 12 especially on a Sunday, other than that all good

Lovely setting, room was very nice with plenty of natural light and space. Breakfast was also very nice with a good choice of buffet and individual cooked food available.

Staff are friendly and attentive. Room was spacious, but badly set out and beds uncomfortable. Massage was lovely at the spa.

It is a clean neat very friendly and helpful place to stay. It makes no secret of being away from the immediate town centre, but misrepresents its position in its' frontage photo. In fact it is on the left ( SE) side of the road behind a high hedge, so not so readily findable by looking for the building. A photo of the entrance gate and sign would be helpful. Otherwise, great.

Not our first stay here but still enjoyed ambience and good breakfast.
Disappointed that our classic room only had a standard double and mattress was very uncomfortable leading to two poor nights sleep. On mentioning this at check-out there was no apology but told hotel was refurbishing bedrooms and this one had not yet been done. Disappointed.

Nice hotel breakfast was good. The only downside was the bathroom, it was a disabled bathroom which we didn’t need and the sink was very small and low down.

Stayed at the Yarrow a few times and been very happy overall,however this time not so good we stayed on the top floor which meant carrying baggage up four flights of stairs,the room has low water pressure and is in need of some tlc .

Good location and easy parking. Spacious Junior suite with large bathroom. Room modern & functional but had poor quality paintwork and lacked luxury. Breakfast was overcooked, held too long on buffet and not hot. Staff seemed uninterested and no visible management. Overall not great value for money.

We have stayed at The Yarrow many times and returned to celebrate our 2yr anniversary. Had a fabulous stay. Great breakfast, friendly staff, lovely lunches and a super room. There was a previous review of room 109 a few days ago., please don't listen to it. We stayed in room 109 and it was lovely, nothing wrong at all. Thank you The Yarrow for another super stay. We'll be back!

Service and general attitude of the staff was very poor. Food was avg, if you wanted a bacon roll and a latte for breakfast you had to pay extra.

Lovely room. Always nice to have a shower & a comfy bed. I personally found the pillows a bit hard but my husband said it was fine. Good breakfast and super friendly staff.

We arrived after a long transatlantic journey and were given a handicapped room, which we neither needed nor requested. The room, quite rightly, is tailored to wheelchair mobility needs. The shower is a roll in area that needs to be squeegeed after each use. The tiny sink is at waist level and very appropriate for a person in a wheelchair. The next morning we requested to be moved to a regular room. They were not able to accommodate that at our Expedia paid rate. The room had a comfortable bed and a view of the parking lot.
Breakfast was good and the staff were cordial
We stayed three nights. It would have been a completely pleasant stay and an appropriate value had our room been a normal one. As it was we felt
overcharged.

We had an issue on the first night with a noisy kitchen fan unit under our window. Not much sleep had!
I went to see Reception first thing and the receptionist and Manager were terrific. They said that we could move , we just packed our things, went out and they moved our luggage to a new room.
