It was a beautiful hotel to stay in. Staff are all so friendly, food was really nice. Very good facilities would highly recommend 👌

Every thing was as we expected but more. The staff were so friendly and helpful and That includes those responsable for looking after the rooms. You realy could not ask for more the food was excellent and there was a very good choice to select from.

Belgrave Sands Hotel, is a Great Hotel, so very Friendly with alot of comfort. Home from Home!!! I have Been there on 3xOccassions every time with Good Service, nothing is too much trouble.

We stayed at The Belvedere Sands 1st to 7th of July it was fantastic so clean everywhere staff were so helpful and polite the facilities were amazing would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone well done Belvedere Sands

Nice hotel, but the room was very hot with little air circulation. Nice beds and very quiet. Slopping ceiing made getting in and out of bed a little tricky. Hot Breakfast was good. Cold buffet disappointing. The staff had to be reminded to replenish. Also table wasnt laid out properly, just had to keep asking for missing items. This was irritating for a 4 star hotel.

It is a great hotel however the room that was given to us was too small and made it difficult for two people. Also, room was too hot. If room was slightly bigger which lots of other rooms were it would have been a great place to stay.

My third time staying and was wonderful as always! My first choice when visiting Torquay and I’ve booked for Christmas! Highly recommended.

Great location for this hotel; i was walking the SW Coast Path and this hotel sits right on the route as it passes through Torquay. Parking is safe and easy; breakfast good and well presented. Reception staff were as helpful and welcome as any i have come across recently. Only criticism would be that the wall between my room and the neighbouring room appeared very thin so one could hear conversations etc.

Very good quality and set up to suit anyone. Good quality food and furnishings but.....a little too bland for me. Would also have liked other food options. Only the formal restaurant so no casual dining or snacking.

Honestly, this was a wonderful hotel all round! I was sent down here for work but decided to bring my mum with me for a cheeky free trip to Torquay and the staff at the hotel couldn’t be any more accommodating than they were! She’s disabled and I had a plethora of requests to help make her stay more comfortable and they came up trumps on every single one of them. The staff were lovely, the room was lovely and spacious, the food was excellent and the service was five stars! We ordered room service and there was a small tray charge for this, but it was worth it for the convenience, quality and level of service. There is a little spa area, emphasis on the word little, but does the trick perfectly. I have some more work coming up down this way so will definitely be rebooking as soon as my dates are confirmed! The whole experience was great. The check in staff are very polite and friendly. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout. Bedrooms have iorns, ironing boards, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities with a large selection. The choice for breakfast is really good. The restaurant is excellent.

One night stay here, great room and excellent facilities in the hotel. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Peaceful nights sleep followed by a delicious breakfast with great choices and availability. Planning to return again soon.

Beautiful hotel would highly recommend it

I had to spend a night in Torquay and decided to treat myself to a nice hotel so I chose Belgrave Sands, I'm a disabled traveller so accessibility to the shower, for example, is important. Prior to the trip I was told that a room that meets my needs was reserved for me which I really appreciated. Upon arrival I checked in and was given the key card to my room which was accessed via a lift. The room was spacious and clean with a beautiful bathroom (gorgeous toiletries!), there was also fresh milk, a bottle of water and a mini chocolate tart in the small fridge which I thought was a nice touch along with the selection of teas and coffees. The only thing I didn't like about the room was that the bed was underneath one of the two windows so to close those curtains I had to clamber across the bed to pull the cord. I had hoped to eat an evening meal of one course but was told this would be £31 and there is no 'bar menu', there is a Beefeater next door so that solved that problem. I had to leave the hotel at 7:30am the following morning which is when the cooked breakfast is served so the day before I asked if I was able to have anything not cooked a bit earlier and was told that I could have a continental breakfast and that they would inform the waiter. When I came down to the breakfast room at 7am the waiter had not been informed about my request but did his best to provide me with something to eat and was very helpful despite rushing around preparing everything.

Staff couldn't be more friendlier and hospitable. Food was great. Pleasently surprised by the night entertainment in the restaurant. Room was clean and had all you would need for an overnight stay. Will be returning in the future.

The hotel is very clean and well kept .. I would say that the best thing is the staff - they were all very welcoming and I noticed how friendly they were with guests. In particular one young lady Elesia I would say is a credit to your hotel - she was brilliant with guests but also very kind to other staff and very competent at her job !!

Nothing bad tovsay. Staff very pleasant, hotel facilities, food and room all very good.
