I’ve always enjoyed staying at this hotel. The breakfast was not as good as I have experienced in the past. I had asked for room service each day but it was spotty service. I expected the beds to be made and the room to be cleaned. That had not happened. Otherwise, the hotel is comfortable. The beds are comfy and I was able to create meals using the microwave in the room. Loved that! It was also pretty quiet.

My overall stay at the Hyatt House was okay. The only complaints I have is the cleanliness of the hotel room. There were a few spots on the linen. Also, the shower matt was very dirty I had to clean it myself.

Fold out couch bed was horrible! Mattress was super thin - you could feel the fold out platform. No bedding provided. Had to call front desk multiple times.

Hotel had system problems and I was told my payment did not process. The payment did in fact process and also posted for a higher amount than. Spoke with management the day of check out, gave her my card information and also a screenshot showing the amount cleared my credit card. Was told they would correct the error, ensured they would research and make sure the amount I was quoted would be all I was charged. She specifically said she was not going to charge my card again and confirmed the amount I should have been billed, which was approximately $150 less. Instead of correcting, the problem, I now have two different transactions posted to my credit card. No credit/correction was issued. I told the lady at the front desk I had concerns about them over billing me because she claimed they couldn’t see where the transaction posted in their system despite the screenshot I provided indicating otherwise.

I lot of research went into finding one of the best hotels in the area. After reading all of the reviews and comparing them to other hotels, we chose Hyatt House Chicago/Oakbrook and was very pleased. The location is very close to the mall, movie theater, restaurants, & other attractions. The accommodations met all our needs including spacious rooms, comfortable beds, full kitchen, and heated pool. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would return again!

We were extremely happy with our stay! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel was clean and the rooms were much larger than expected. The bathroom was large and the shower was as well with good water pressure. The extra counter outside of the bathroom was a nice touch to be able to apply make up without having to wait for the steamy bathroom to clear. The complimentary breakfast was fabulous with many options including made to order omelets. My 2 teenage sons had plenty to eat and then some for the day. We could not have been happier to stay at the Hyatt.

Great stay but room could be cleaner. Found a bunch of debris at the edge around the foot of the bed. Have leftover food debris on the drain in the dishwasher and some leftover frozen meat in the freezer. Vents are also dirty.

I'm scared to give such a great review because they may raise the prices. LoL! This was my second stay. I the staff is warm, welcoming and accommodating. I couldn't have asked for more. I felt safe. Breakfast was great. The location is convenient to get to everything and everyone. The pool and gym were great bonuses. I'll be back again soon.

The bathroom was not very clean. Pink ring around sink (it also drained very slowly). The toilet had stains like it hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly in a while. The towels had mascara stains and the shower soaps and shampoo were empty
The bartender was non existent. The front desk girl finally came over and served the few of us that were there

OMG!!!! This was the most amazing Hotel. Me and my wife were Newlyweds, so we were just looking for a quick mini getaway. Once the hotel staff was aware that we were Newlyweds they made us feel so special especially the host Monica you the best. Monica made sure we had a room away from everyone. We are definitely coming back again. The only thing that was missing was the fireplace outside. Everything else was great.

If you want to find a clean hotel in a nice area for a reasonable price that feeds you each morning with hot food and includes free self-parking then I highly recommend this place! The staff are happy professionals who are always willing to help!!

We reserved a King sized bed and received a Queen sized bed. Contacted the front desk and they explained that we did have a King size bed. I know the difference between a King and a Queen size bed. Hell, I sleep in a King size bed every night. Contacted the front desk so they could visibly see the bed, but they never came to the room. I guess they were too busy to come check the room out.

We were so impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel. Also, the suite we had was so cozy. The parking was convenient too. The staff was nice and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Thanks for a great stay!

The rooms are clean and very spacious. I loved the modernness of the hotel. It was in close distance to everything I needed. I will definitely be staying here again.

The air conditioner could go lower than 66 degrees. I like a cool room to sleep in, it was to warm for me, so had a little trouble sleeping.
