Hotel is in Agia Marina that is a perfect location for a Holiday in Western Crete. Chania is close and the bus service works all day long 7 Days a Week. Agia Marina has a long Beach with several common areas, but this Hotel even provides a private one with nice sunbeds and Beach Bar. If for a night You would visit a Party-zone, Platanias is only for a half an hour walk or ten minutes by bus. Staff is very polite and attentive, always have time to considerate any extra Customer need or request. As, we have been returning guests for recent Years, for us they provide friendly even familiar environment. The operation Manager is almost always available even late evenings for a talking and he is never too tired to ask what they can help for a Customer to enjoy a better Holiday. Why we are returning? This place has everything for a good relax, beach, quality Greek food, shopping facilities, and excursions to be part of Greek lifestyle for a week or even more.

I was lucky to spend here 2 Holidays this Year, 1st in August, and 2nd in September. Hotel has very good location, Hania is easy to reach, beach is nice, restaurants and supermarkets are all around the Hotel. Hotel breakfast and buffet dinner are acceptable. Staff is very kind, second time even they made my stay as a relax in a cosy, homelike atmosphere. Special thanks for the Receptionists, cleaning Ladies and Operation manager, for their smile and neverending doing for quality! :-)

The beach is small, but ok. Umbrellas and sunbed for free.

Staff are amazing and very helpful. They gave us free upgrade to the other 5* hotel at Cavo Spada. Easy parking and car is essential considering the location. Very good open buffet breakfast. Very enjoyable stay over all. All this review is for Giannoulis Cavo Spada.

Shame the TV is outdated and didn't work properly despite prompt attempts to fix it by the staff.

Location was fine- it was in an area that we knew well. Breakfast was fine and beach was good- the beach beds were fine

We had an issue with the security of our room- I returned to the room after it had been cleaned to find the door unlocked which was unacceptable- I raised this with the front desk but the response given was merely a thanks that I had told them but no real apology or any form of compensation for an issue that I take very seriously. also we had issues with our room keys not working to gain access to our rooms which was a pain and needed a visit to front desk to get new cards

Staff is very different. Cleaning and operational workers are very nice and also some receptionistst do their job right and kind, but there are someones without any sign of kindness, helpness. Restaurant’s staff really need to be trained urgently about dealing with guests and their usual requests, as global! Some kind of renovation would be nice, eg. bathrooms, for such a price of this accommodation.

All perfect, the hotel is located 20 minutes by bus from Chania Town, they have a delicious breakfast, friendly hospitality and surrounded by shops and ATMs.

The location is great. Beach is beautiful and sandy with a long shallow waters to swim.

Value for money ratio is rather bad. One of the main feature that made me choose this hotel was a Fitnes Room which was a total disaster. Running trails didn’t work there was no AC in the room as it was removed. They offered us to stay use a fitness in their sister hotel but it was 20 minutes away by car!

Wonderful - Pool to beach to pool to beach, great setting. Balcony and sea view worth the extra. Friendly and helpful staff. Bus to Chania could be crowded but plenty of choice with local restaurants minutes from the hotel.

Very nice beach, Agia Marina beach had very warm water (compared to other famous beaches). Hotel on the beach, with a great view! Helpfull and friendly staff. Price is reasonable compared to similar beach hotel.

Overall we liked it very much was a great choice. Breakfast service and beach service could be improved.

The facilities and the view to the beach were spectacular. The staff was lovely and very accommodating!
