Excellent hôtel , Clean, modern .

Great hotel and location, except we had mould in the bathroom, which they cleaned by the time we were back that afternoon.

No amenities, re used glass water bottles no water pressure uncomfortable bed

Situated across the street from Genoa harbor, great location for walking to food, shops, attractions and 15 mibute walk from train station. Good size rooms, friendly staff. The only negative was that our shower had some visible mold in it.

Lovely hotel. Good-sized room, helpful staff, great location. They shouldn’t charge for breakfast (18 euros is a lot), but otherwise the experience was completely positive.

Very helpful staff, even though the elevator was not working, the lady at the front desk assisted us, all the staff where very nice, rooms clean, comfortable and in a good area to take hop on hop off, eat, shop, etc

Beautiful property in a well maintained building. The hallways can get pretty noisy and the bed and pillows were not comfortable at all. Ac worked well and tv had plenty of channels. The only other downside was the younger man at reception with curly dark hair. He was so cold to us and i felt like us just being there was an inconvenient for him.

My stay at this hotel was disappointing. When I arrived the front desk staff did not know how to check us in. It turned out that the person at the desk was literally a server from the restaurant. The bathroom in my room was configured very strangely with no mirror above the sink and very poor lighting. The air conditioning unit and bed were positioned so that the cold air blew directly onto the bed and was very uncomfortable. This property has a lot of potential, but they really need to get their act together.

Room was very spacious and clean. We had a loft style room - the bedroom was up top over looking the living room area. Bathroom was very large and had lots of towels and bath amenities. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They were very helpful when asking for suggestions.

The hotel staff was exceptional. The hotel was clean but the air conditioning was terrible. The area around the hotel was dirty and felt unsafe at times. The hotel had no internet. The hotel site was not convenient to things, no dining ootions. Overall didnt enjoy the stay

Every step of the way the staff here were great. Most days we had a gentleman Ford help us at breakfast and to advise on best places to go. His jovial attitude somehow stayed in tact while he actually ran around to help guests. Major thanks for everything Ford. You made our time in Genova better. As for the property itself, rooms were well appointed and spacious and very clean. Best housekeeping we’ve had yet in italy.

Beautiful and large rooms but awful location / town - more a reflection of the city overall than the hotel itself.

Despite the entrance to the hotel between 2 doors to McDonalds, the hotel is very modern and in a great location in the old town.

Very convenient for tourism. Excellent friendly staff. Comfortable simply furnished room. Small old shower but it worked well. Very good breakfast options. The entrance area to the hotel building does not look good but once inside this old grand villa it shows real charm

The hotel was nice and the staff was excellent. The people at the front desk were really fantastic, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. In fact on our last day they were unable to reach a cab by phone (no one answered) so the man at the front desk walked around the corner and ordered a cab in person for us. Outstanding service!

Bad bad area of town. Never felt safe inside or outside this hotel! The area near the main train station looks nice and has nice hotels. My phone was stolen. The sketchy people outside the hotel are stalking the tourist. This hotel entrance is in the middle of a McDonalds! All the shops near this hotel are gross filled full of junk from middle eastern people. Not a true Italian vacation experience at all! Just gross unsafe area! Beds are hard, pillows are flat, Lobby is in the kitchen, noisy starting at 6am when they start breakfast. Ask for new room but they said no. Could not sleep for 3 days! Not a 4 star hotel in US standards at all. More like a 3. 2 wonderful staff. Day front desk lady and night front desk man. Very helpful when my phone was stolen. Rest of staff does not dress appropriately junky street close. Would not stay here ever again. If I have to come back to Genoa and stay there for another cruise I will only stay near the train station. In one of those nice hotels. Don’t let the fact that this is by the aquarium fool u. Defiantly not kid friendly area. Pass on this hotel if you care about your safety!

We didn’t enjoy our night at de ville. The bed and pillow ware very uncomfortable it was hard to fall asleep. Moreover, we had stairs in the room and it was scary to use them. Feels like it is about to detach from the wall in any second. It is moving and doing a strange noise while climbing up and down. Also the area is not pleasant.

The hotel is located right next to Genoa port and the aquarium . This can be problematic if you arrive by car since it's sometimes difficult to park for unloading near the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful with unique decoration and style. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom but a bit dark with a small window. Breakfast costs 12 euro for adults (half for kids), and it's very high quality where you can order multiple items from a menu in addition to the buffet. Employees are very kind and helpful

Extreme noice from the highway and unfriendly service. Not recommended.

One of the only hotels I could find with 2 beds. This was a beautiful room with 2 floors and 2 bathrooms and a spiral staircase. Staff was friendly and efficient and gave us lots of information about the surrounding area, places to eat and visit. Only stayed 1 night before a cruise but it was memorable. Right across from the waterfront where all the action is. Perfect for family travel.

The staff were excellent. The breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant was very good for dinner. The location was an easy walk to historical sites. Very reasonably priced for the accommodations.

The property is convenient to the Marina and the old town of Genoa. The roads to get to the hotel are difficult to navigate and parking isn't the most conveninet. Overall, the hotel was nice. However, I paid for a water view, which we got after you looked across the elevated highway.

This is a great and beautiful hotel in the inside. The building is fromthe year 1677 and it has been remodeled. The room was huge with 16 foot ceiling. I have nothing negative about the hotel. The location is old town Genoa and it did not feel safe. Near a metro station and the main train station.

Staff is very friendly, so kind and helpful. Outstanding breakfast.

Very hard to get to hotel based on GPS guidance. It took us about 45 min to figure it out. And had to hired a taxi to take us after so much time running in circles…. But we made it 😊
