The price was convenient for a hotel in Switzerland. It was properly clean.

The self check-in machine was broken so I had to go to another hotel for the check-in. The double bed isn't a double bed, it's two mattresses instead of one on a double bed. It was near a very noisy street, but I slept well because I was too tired. It good for one night but not longer.

The bed was good. Bed linen was very soft!

The bathroom is a built-in cabin with a door inside the room. It looked strange =)

Good location, pretty close to the "Badischer Bahnhof" train station. Tram stations nearby.

The lack of air conditioning. It was a very hot day in Basel and the room temperature was too high, it was difficult to fall asleep.

The bathroom drain was clogged. It's nearby a main road outside, so it's noisy if you open the windows.

We specifically chose this accommodation because it had self check-in and we didn’t know at what time we’d arrive (after 10 pm). We didn’t want the hassle of having to call the hotel to make sure there’d be someone there. As it turned out the self check-in machine was broken and had to check-in at a different hotel. At the hotel there was no one there and had to wait 10 minutes for somebody to come. However, our names were not on the list so we couldn’t get a key to the hotel. The man (from the Alexander Hotel) was nice enough to offer us a room at their hotel (which was a lot nicer than the EasyHotel one). The point of booking a room with self check-in was to have the least amount of worries after a long day of driving. So it was frustrating to have to go through this whole ordeal.

Excellent location. Room as described. Spotless. Excellent staff. Great value for money.

There were no tea and coffee facilities but we knew this before the booking was made.

rooms are very convenient for a short stay

the self check in was out of order; which is inconvenient when you arrive at midnight and all you want is just go to bed. you had to go to a hotel nearby, which isn’t a problem as long as you don’t have to much luggage but once you get there there is also no 24h reception & you have to call and wait for at least another 10min. since you get into the rooms with a code why don’t you just send the info straight to the customer ?
