Booked a room for two adults and one child (8 years old). Got two single beds in the first room - receptionist aknowledged the mistake and got a new room. New room had to have the extra bed set up, while we were there. Housekeeping came - she did not seemed pleased with her job nor the situation. Not € 255 a night worth - did expect more

Parallel street to the hotel is a quay which also has plenty of restaurants and bars.

Staff was very nice and service-minded. The location is great and it's easy to walk basically everywhere so there's no need to use a car.
However, considering this is a 4-star hotel the experience is 3-stars at best.
Room was ok but nothing more, though the view of the church is stunning. The lobby is incredibly ugly and so are the hallways and bar area. There's a smell of really cheap, sour perfume everywhere, but especially in the lobby. It might be a cleaning product they use.
To summarize: If this hotel wants to actually be 4-stars, they are in need of serious renovations.

Excellent location combined with clean rooms and friendly staff. The restaurant has good quality food, I wish it would open until later at night. The breakfast buffet is very complete, an a la carte option would be a good idea for the not so hungry ones.

The room was very spacious & clean. The mini fridge never got cold though. We had a great view of a beautiful church just outside our window. All the attractions were walkable.

Condition and cleanliness were excellent. Personnel professional. Prime location for access to city centre. This also means the surrounding streets are noisy with vehicle and foot traffic into the early hours of morning. This would normally not impact sleep if windows are able to be closed. and air conditioning were working. As it was, our stay was extremely disappointing with stifling room temperatures. After mentioning our concern to the reception, a technician was sent to check our a/c which got the fan going but still only warm air was circulated.
No one from the front desk followed up whether our concerns had been addressed. - A hotel of this calibre not even providing the basic amenity of a normal room temperature? Sorry, will not be staying again.

I only stayed one night and the room was a good size and clean. I found the bed to be a bit too hard and uncomfortable. Also the sound insulation in the building is not so good. I was on the top floor so above noise was not an issue but I could hear a neighboring room's tv until quite late which did disturb my sleep somewhat.
I ordered room service which was prompt and good and the breakfast was also decent.
