You had to pay for breakfast, no problem but there was no variety and no porridge/oatmeal offered. Same food every morning.

Location

Hotel was a solid three star hotel. A couple of annoyances around edges. Pillows were lumpy. Breakfast was hit and miss and felt like there were x number of pastries do arrive late and get none. Not sure what their clientele are like generally but a few interaction suggested they try and trick their way into breakfast and kick off when being asked to leave a free pool table. Based on my stay this felt like they needed to tone it down a bit but I was there with my young lad.

Great property. Great food and drink options on site and close by the hotel. Room was a bit small, but manageable. Just needed to avoid bumping the TV hanging on wall at the foot of the beds.

Nice hotel, with a great little bar/food area. Surprisingly quiet overnight for the middle of Glasgow - comfy beds and cosy rooms. Would book again, despite being a little pricey for one night!

Definitely not exceptional or good . Warning : they don’t let u check in even a minute before . Not clean rooms ! Carpet wasn’t vacuumed . Full with crumbs n human hair . Both twin beds were sloppy in the middle ! Extremely uncomfortable beds . No changing of bed sheets in my three days stay or vacum until requested No microwave on the premises for guests . Breakfast was traditional not exceptional! It’s not free but can include with a payment . Unstable wifi . I didn’t understand what part was my VIP access through out my stay 🤔.

Spacious room and comfortable

The Ibis is a chain hotel that offers simple but comfortable accommodation. This particular hotel had a musical retro theme which made it unique. My room was quite small, it had a bed that pretty much took all the space a chair right next to it and that was all. There was a t.v. with local channels and the bathroom amenities were pretty much hand soap and body soap and shampoo. I didn’t stay in the room much so didn’t need more but for the price it would be nice to add a few more amenities. The tea kettle was inside the closet and it had basic tea and Nescafé. What made this hotel great was its location; it is walking distance from the center of town, close to everything: museums, cafes, restaurants, transportation, bars, etc…

Handy for city centre but quite noisy

Upon arrival we went to the hatch where the neon lights saying ‘Check-in’ beckoned us to go. Quite a few staff member milling around seemingly busy sorting the tunes and ignoring the weary travellers laden down with bags standing there. Several minutes passed before a voice behind us asked ‘are you checking in?’ I am not sure what gave it away 😀 Anyway we went to room we stayed the night the pillows were terrible and for the price the Ibis Styles must up their game. Will we return? Debatable.

Rooms are incredibly small and don’t have basic practicalities like a closet, hooks for your jackets or a table to put things on.

Good location and nice decor. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The only issue was the size of the room. It was much too small to accommodate 3 adults. With the sofa bed set up, there was barely room to move, store luggage,etc. Fine for 1, or maybe 2 people maximum. It wasn't cheap, as there were a couple of large events in town on the weekend we stayed, and most of the hotel facilities were fine, but very basic and far too cramped for 3 adults.

This is a two-star hotel masking itself as higher-rated place. The room we stayed was in horrible condition, for example: it appeared there were blood or poop stains on the carpet; the toilet didn't flush until maintenance came to fix, and the shower water temperature fluctuated from hot to cold every second. Also, the room is small, which was expected, but it is so small that you are not able to walk between the flatscreen tv and the bed without turning sideways and doing a sidestep as if you were walking across folks at a theater. Finally, for some reason, the lounge had a bouncer/security guard who did not allow us to eat in the lounge the food we brought in from outside. We have stayed at dozens of hotels and never been denied the bringing of our own food in the lounge. And he was a jerk about it. Way to treat your customers! Final take, if you’re looking for a low class hotel with blood/poop stains on the carpet, but walkable to the city center, this is your place. Whatever price shows up for your days, it’s worth about a third of that, at the most.

Lovely quirky hotel in a central area. Room clean, staff friendly. Plenty of choice for breakfast and the food was lovely. Have already booked my nrxt stay here.

Cheap and cheerful budget hotel in a good location. Accommodated (very!) early check-in and late check-out which was a nice touch. Cool bar/restaurant as well.

Reasonable hotel - rooms are fairly basic for the price but do the job. Check-in took quite a long time.

A desk was very small so I could not use PC conveniently.

Exactly what it says on the tin..5 mins walk from central station and the merchant quarter. Nice hotel and nice rooms.

I came to Glasgow to celebrate my 60th birthday , staying in Ibis Styles was amazing , the staff were very helpful and the hotel was very welcoming , will definately stay again next time i visit Glasgow

Good proximity to car hire return and buses anywhere including the airport.

The lobby is great - we enjoyed watching Euro cup there. We were given an accessible room (even though we didn't request it) facing Waterloo Street and it was quiet and comfortable, but the bathroom was a little battle-worn and could use a spruce-up. Key benefit of staying here is proximity to the airport bus, which comes every 10 min or so, is 10 pounds, and gets you there in 20 minutes direct.

within walking distance to main area but far enough it is quiet. I liked Launch cafe..and used it for breakfasts. check it out
