This hotel is beautiful. The owners made sure our stay was perfect. They brought a breakfast at exactly the time we requested. Croissants, fruit, toast and coffee. The balcony overlooked a forest. And they shuttled us to the airport at 5:15AM! Highly recommend.

It was my husband and I, first time visiting Costa Rica and it won't be our last. I would definitely recommend Hotel Pibi Boreal. It's a family owned hotel. You are treated very well from the time you get picked up. The property is a peaceful and tropical atmosphere. If that's
what you love then, this would definitely be the place. The best part of our stay is having breakfast delivered to my room every morning and sitting on the balcony and eating while listening to the tropical wildlife. Thanks to Mathieu, his wife and also Sebastian for making our birthday weekend special.

nice place to stay after we got in late from our flight. Room was comfortable and breakfast was served to our door and we ate on the patio which was super relaxing. Great service, friendly staff. Felt very safe:)

Amazing forest all around, you are in the trees. Sadly we were unable to stay for breakfast as we were there one night and had to leave very early for our flight. Great staff and great recommendations for dinner

Excellent location close to the airport and yet seemed like you were in a rural part. Nice nature path behind the hotel. Nice continental breakfast (fruits, croissants, toast, coffee). The owners Mathieu and Nidia are very helpful with suggestions of where to go and where to eat. Would definitely stay there again.

Property had many many greeneries, which makes it beautiful. It was my first time in CR and the staff was super helpful making me feel less stress and safer. Next time I will definitely return to Pibi for a longer stay.

This property is beautiful and quiet. It is about 15 minutes away from the airport. What makes it even more pleasant is the wonderful owners who make your stay comfortable and relaxed. The breakfast is great and they try their best to accommodate your needs. I definitely recommend Pibi boreal.

This place is amazing. Also, the family running it are so friendly. They are great host’s delivering breakfast to our door each morning. The room was very large and very clean. It was also a very secure location with great views. I would highly recommend to others.

Our flight was delayed and it was no issue in changing our pick up time.
Breakfast was a decent start to the day.
They also helped get us a taxi to our car rental, which was very speedy.
The beds were comfortable with plenty of space in the room.
Everything was very clean.
My only complaint, was that within minutes after arriving we received a messege to talk quieter. I did not see it until days later, as it was on whatsapp. However it was 945pm.
We were connecting with our friends from another state, so yes we were excited. We were in bed by 10pm.
I would suggest you list your quiet hours on your website to avoid any future negativity or disruption to other guests.

We stayed here on our first night in Costa Rica. Check in was easy, the hosts were very pleasant, and the breakfast was great (I'll never complain about fresh croissants and Costa Rican pineapple). The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The view was amazing... My kids loved eating breakfast on the balcony. Amazing stay, and a great start to our vacation.

Great place to stay the last night in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 close to the car rental return and airport. Safe, friendly owner (he speaks Spanish English & French), perfect lil breakfast before you travel home. I’ve stayed twice on my last night the last 2 trips and will stay there again my next trip.

A perfect ending to our Costa Rican trip. Very friendly, helpful owners. Pibi Boreal is a peaceful hotel surrounded by nature. The rooms are simple elegance, functional and tastefully designed. The breakfast was delicious and served on a tray brought to our rooms.

Not hard to find. Very secluded and incredibly beautiful gardens and landscaping! Peaceful setting though jet traffic overhead was a bit noisy in the morning but not too bad. Hosts were extremely helpful and caring. Room basic but fully adequate and spotlessly clean. Private balcony and delicious breakfast delivered right to our door finished our stay perfectly. Would love to stay here again!

Hotel Pibi Boreal was our first stop along our Costa Rican vacation and it certainly did not disappoint. Property is beautiful, rooms were very nice and clean, close to the airport, but felt like we were at an oasis away from it all. We were greeted by the owner and she could not have been more lovely. Breakfast was delivered right to our door and was delicious.
Would definitely stay there again if we ever travel this way in the future!

It was a little hard at first to get here because it is a small out-of-the-way place that many taxi drivers had not heard of. However, once looking at an online map, it was easy to get to and very close to the airport - only 5 miles or so. It is a quiet spot, and the deck overlooking the trees is a wonderful place to have breakfast. The beds and linens are top quality, the bathroom is clean and new with a wonderful shower with plenty of hot water. I will consider staying here again.

Excellent service in this family-run bed and breakfast. After a long and late flight, the airport pick up was appreciated and to wake up with a beautiful view of a tropical garden and forest area was so much nicer than waking next to a highway at a typical airport hotel. We arranged for our rental car to be delivered to the property, so we were able to avoid the congested traffic of San Jose. Lovely continental breakfast with croissants and coffee.

Great place to stay for first night especially if you're looking for something more authentic than a hotel chain. The host made sure we got there safely from the airport even though we got in late and had delays with our baggage. In the morning we took a short walk on the property and saw leaf cutter ants! The host made sure we got pointed in the right direction on our way out.
We would stay there again.

We enjoyed waking-up surrounded my nature. It was like getting a bonus day from our vacation as this is hotel is so close to the airport but it’s not an airport hotel. The owners are super friendly and the light breakfast was just what we needed.
