We travelled as 2 families, including 4 teenagers. We all really enjoyed our 3 week stay at Vila Vida and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place in Ferragudo. The villa provides ample space for 8, was very clean and included everything we needed during our stay. Communication from Jean Paul was excellent and a couple of minor problems we encountered were dealt with immediately. We will definitely return to Ferragudo as we loved the area and wouldn't hesitate to stay at Vila Vida again.

The property is exactly as advertised. Fantastic views, convenient location, well laid out and well equipped villa. We had everything we could have wanted to cater for a family with an infant. The host was very helpful. Will be staying again.

3 adult couples stayed 3 weeks. The location was perfect as we had not known about this lovely village beforehand. The restaurants are exceptional in and around the village. Proximity to all Algarve highlights are no more than 1-1.5 hrs away. On the weekend, we sat on the balcony and listened to the great music coming from the village square. Views from the villa are spectacular; sunsets are breathtaking. The main living area accommodated our group of 6 very well. Satellite Smart TV in LR with Netflix access. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and dishes;second smaller kitchen on the first level and comfortable living area as well. There is a bbq on the top level which was very clean. We rotated bedrooms each week so each couple had an opportunity to occupy in the master suite on 4th level and enjoy the water views and small balcony, and large ensuite bathroom. Second 4th floor bedroom/ensuite provided access to the rooftop living area; third bedroom on the lowest level shared bathroom with a 4th bedroom. Lots of closet space in bedrooms. There was a washing machine/driver and a the drying rack for outdoor drying. There is plenty of parking. Grocery stores were close by (Lidl about 3 mins. and Apolonia about 10-15 min) The owner was always accessible through Whatsapp if we had any questions. He was a pleasure to deal with. We had a wonderful 3 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the unit and its amenities. Highly recommend Vila Vida!

Ferragudo itself is a gem, and this house makes the most of it. Conveniently located. We loved the views and the different balconies and terraces at the house, allowing different vistas and choice of sun or shade. Excellent communication with the owner.

Just got back from an amazing stay at Villa Vida. We never got bored of the breathe taking views and Jean Paul was a brilliant host. Would definitely love to come and stay again.

We love everything about the villa and Ferragudo. The villa was very clean and has plenty of space, everything was as the listing stated and the location is great for access to the local square for bars, restaurants etc. Communication with the owner was prompt and we would thoroughly recommend this villa for your holiday.

We stayed for one week at Vila Vida and had a fantastic time. Ferragudo is a lovely, quiet fishing village and the proximity to the larger and busier Portimao meant that we had the best of both worlds. The property itself was perfect for our family. The kids loved the pool and we loved the views from the roof terrace and the balconies.

We all enjoyed our stay and made the most of the roof, but also the quick walk into the town to visit the shops and get something to eat. Whilst a small town, there are some lovely places to eat and drink.

We had a lovely holiday in Ferragudo. Beautiful villa that has everything you would need. Lovely village with some fabulous restaurants.

We spent the second week of our holiday on the Algarve in Vila Vida and we couldn't of asked for more from our stay. The property was impeccably maintained and furnished to the highest standard with everything you needed. The views from the property were to die for and we never tired of watching the boats bob up and down in the harbour.We also ate on several occasions in Ferragudo - Fin do Mundo twice Ferrogood once aswell as having a bbq on the roof terrace.We cannot rate this property highly enough and hope to return with the rest of the family in the future.

Stayed for 9 nights and have been to the same accommodation twice now. Just right for a couple with a good sized bedroom, plenty of wardrobe space. Clean shower room, pleasant kitchen with loads of crockery, glasses etc. Never used the lounge as weather was brilliant. Outside area was good with plenty of places to sit and sunbathe. Pool is fairly small but enough to cool off In. Own private entrance. Only slight problem was the lighting outside at night. It was too dark and security light was on for moments and then off again. We brought standard lamp to patio doors and solved the problem. It was a lovely break in a clean and comfortable apartment and will go back again. Easy to walk into Ferragudo for meals and drinks.

Vila Vida has everything you could wish for to spend your holiday. We stayed here in July 2017 with a group of 8. The kitchens (and barbecues) are equipped with all you need and more. The relatively big pool is great for some refreshment. The rooftop terrace has a sunscreen, so it's nice to spend some time up there to enjoy the amazing views. Paul and Sas were quick to respond when we had any questions and they left us a nice welcome note with a bottle of wine, which was very appreciated. When we got back to Holland we found out that one of us had forgotten a necklace at the house. Paul and Sas came into action right away and mailed it to us at no additional cost. So even though we never met them in person, the service they offered was very good! Also there's enough to do in the town of Ferragudo. Lots of restaurants nearby in the little streets and at the town square. Ferragudo is lovely, not too much tourism and very picturesque. Check out the opportunities to catch a boat ride to the caves or to Silves with Feel Free Algarve (located near the end of the boulevard, where the fishermen are fixing their nets in the afternoon). Both trips were lovely. All in all a great place to stay. We had a wonderful time!

Beautiful property and wonderful hosts, provided all the information we needed and quick response to emails . The house was gorgeous and contained everything we needed for a relaxing holiday . Thank you both for sharing your beautiful villa in Ferragudo, the accommodation was excellent , very clean and very comfortable with excellent views and so well equipped . The roof terrace with BBQ also absolutly amazing with 360 panoramic views over a very quaint fishing village ( so always something to watch). the beach is a 20 minute walk , also has 3-4 restaurants . The restaurants and bars only a 10 minute walk minute walk from the villa with world wide quisine , something foe everyone taste. We have already recommended this villa to many of our friends and family. We enjoyed our very chilled out 2 week holiday so much we definitely will book to go back in the future to this excellent villa Thank you again . Dave and Angie

A holiday destination to be visited again. From the roof terrace views to the luxury pool area the villa is heaven from top to bottom. We had four people staying and the shared areas could have comfortably coped with double that. All the rooms are spacious and configured brilliantly to maximise the space and get the sun / shade ratio right. The owners made the trip really simple with clear communication leading up to the trip and a clear manual on site when we arrived. We had no need to contact them all week as everything was covered which really got us into the relaxed holiday spirit quickly once we arrived. The villa is a short walk from the main square which enables you to 'nip in' for suppliers whilst have a supermarket a five minute drive away meant the gas bbqs (that are on the roof and by the pool!!) were always blessed with fresh produce In summary and heavenly, relaxing week - highly recommended!

We, family of 4 + grandparents, enjoyed our stay in Vila Vida house + appartment very much and the description was very accurate. Lovely views on the topterras and the vila has everything, was clean and has lots of comfort. Much information about the area and house is available. Within a short drive you have acces to lovely beaches and restaurants. Ferrangudo itself has just enough restaurants to start your holiday, but do look further for great restaurants in the area. I will recommend it to best friends and relatives for sure!!!!

We spent 10 days in this wonderful house and we could find no fault. The house and apartment are fantastically well equipped with all mod cons and are both decorated beautifully. All eventualities have been covered. The house a 10 min walk from Ferragudo, a quiet and sedate fishing village with a delightful square in which to relax and unwind. There are some fantastic restaurants close to Vila Vida including Fim Do Mundo, O Velho Novo and Farragood. If your looking for a livelier night then Portimao and Praia da Rocha are only and short water taxi ride away. Finally I would like to praise both Sas and Paul (Vila Vida owners) who from the first time we contacted them to when our stay ended were both superb with no question or query being ignored or unanswered. They covered all bases before we left for Portugal and when we arrived additional information for both the house and local area were available in presentation packs to allow your visit to be hassle free. Just spent 10days in villa vida house it everthing you could wish for . The house is tastefully decorated and more than well equipped. Spotlessly clean and in a very good location with superb views off the town and portimao. The villa is only 5 minute walk downhill (uphill back) or a 10 minute walk flat.for a small town Ferragudo has some brilliant resturants we did not have one bad meal during our stay would not hesitate in recomending villa vida

The photos of this property really don't do it justice, from the views and the swimming pool to the huge interior and wonderfully decorated rooms this place was special. I can't review it highly enough and if you are looking for a peaceful villa which is a short stroll from the town square then look no further, you will not be disappointed. The owners SAS and Paul are extremely helpful and answered all my questions via email before arrival and sent me an email whilst there to check everything was ok, which I thought was a lovely touch. Overall Vila Vida is amazing and we were all sad to leave. Thanks SAS and Paul.
