This is such a cute, cozy location! My friend and I were in town for just a few days, and were looking for a quiet place to relax. This home is extremely cute and absolutely decorated with care. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short, but the host was excellent at assisting us when we needed it.

I loved my stay at Heather's lovely, artistic home! I came for a writer's workshop at the university (which would have been walking distance if there hadn't been a heat wave that week). The house is in a quiet neighborhood, had everything I needed. I enjoyed being surrounded by her pretty plants. Heather was very helpful & quick to reach out/respond to messages. I would definitely stay again.

The cottage was in a cute and historic area of Iowa City. It was nicely decorated in an eclectic style...we enjoyed looking around at the different pieces of art on display. We also appreciated the Welcome sheet left by the host that gave tips on where to eat nearby. We tried the vegan place and really enjoyed it.

I was visiting Iowa City after having moved away years ago. I was happy to find the listing for this rustic home tucked away in the heart of the city and just a few minutes from downtown. The house was cozy with many enjoyable pieces of art throughout.

The house is older, with amazing wood trim throughout, and loaded with plants, artwork, and treasures and trinkets collected by the owner. Every room is a visual delight. The neighborhood is quiet, as is the house. The backyard is private and you can watch birds, squirrels, and a little chipmunk eating around the bird feeders. The kitchen is modern; the bed was very comfy. This home met our needs 100% and I would almost travel back to Iowa City just to stay there.

Stayed here with my husband and dog while visiting family for Christmas. The home was as described, cozy and comfortable. The mattress in the upstairs room was amazingly comfortable (we both like a firm bed). Location was convenient to highways and things to do. The neighborhood was very walkable, which our German Shepard thoroughly appreciated. Heather was very responsive to messages before and during our stay.
