Villa was great- very spacious and clean with all the amenities we needed. Enrico is really good host and we cannot thank him enough. After arriving late in the evening he booked table for us in the local restaurant and few days later he arranged emergency dentist for my partner on the Easter
Sunday. He went out of his way to make our holiday amazing. I would recommend him 100%. Thank you so much and hopefully see you again in the future :)

Bathrooms could be a bit more up-to-date, but we spent most of the time outside anyways ;)

We enjoyed our holiday for two weeks in this great Villa. The big garden is perfect for families with young children and in the villa you can find really everything you need. It's located in a quiet area so we were glad to have a car to do some trips. But you can also walk to a restaurant, supermarket and to the beach

A perfect location for everything near the city center. We were met by Alberto's wife Anna Maria. She was so nice and helpful, she even helped us lug some of our luggage up the 60+ steps up to the flat. The flat was very comfy and the kitchen small but functional for our one week stay. The bed was kind of low, it could use a top mattress or a softer one. The bathroom was small but adequate, could use a shelf above the the sink for toiletries. The location could not be more perfect for everything near the city center, the train station, the Duomo, the Mercato Centrale and all shopping. Great food and service across the street at Guidos and good pizza at Ciro and Sons. Close to the bus terminals for the "hop on - hop off" city tour bus and other Tuscan bus tours. Would definitely recommend this gem in the city center of Florence.

My wife and I stayed here for a few days during our honeymoon trip across Italy. Alberto was great! He was so charming and funny, he made us feel like his friend right from the start. The apartment was very nice and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. We were also in Rome, Como and Venice on this trip and I have to say I think I enjoyed Florence the most. So much great art and architecture to see, all within a very short walk from the apartment!
The apartment is fairly high up, with several flights of stairs so I would recommend it for people who have trouble walking up a ton of stairs...although if you have trouble walking most places in Italy probably aren't for you.

We (Aussie couple) chose this apartment because of the reviews we read and the location as described. Brilliant! Just as it was said to be. Not too far to walk from the main railway station for travellers with luggage. Just up the street to the markets, shops and eateries of all kinds nearby.
Walking distance to many of Florence's beautiful attractions including Ponte Vecchio, Uffizzi, the Duomo, piazza's, churches, on/off tourist bus etc.
The owner (Alberto) was easy to contact and spoke excellent English. He also gave us good advice about what to see and how to get there.
Access to the apartment was safe and secure. For a couple the apartment was quite spacious and all facilities listed were in good order. The place was well maintained and very clean.
We loved the city and another visit would certainly see us stay in this apartment again. We will be recommending this place to family and friends

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time in Florence. This apartment was perfect. We stayed for 3 nights. The apartment was clean and has every amenity necessary for a great stay, even a dishwasher. The linens are crisp and fresh with new down comforters, the shower was consistently hot (not always easy to find). The apartment is located in the heart of the old city within walking distance of all the major attractions. We typically cooked breakfast in the morning, spend the day touring then we would drop back by the apartment for some relaxation time before heading out to dinner. The apartment has great WiFi and TV with many, many channels. The convenient location and ease made the trip ideal.
Alberto, was the perfect host. We inadvertently arrived in Florence a day earlier than we had reserved. We, of course, didn’t realize it until we were in Florence (and called Alberto). Alberto was awesome! He suggested we drop our luggage off at the apartment and go out for dinner. Within 2 hours Alberto had the apartment spectacularly cleaned and ready for our stay. He left giving us instructions to call him with any and all questions.
I have rented many Home Away residents in the past, this one would be one of our favorites. Highly recommend it.

We stayed at this apartment for five nights this August and we could not be happier with our choice. It was three of us together with a baby and we felt comfortable in the apartment (there was space for at least 1 more person to feel comfortable). The apartment was recently renovated and is on the 4th floor of a building built sometimes in the 1600s. There are all amenities that a three-star hotel offers but the apartment also had a washer which was a plus in the hot Florence weather or if you get a stomach bug as we did. Everything in the apartment is almost brand new and it was clean and cozy. The floors are covered in tiles and the stone walls keep it cool inside. The cable TV in the apartment is basic and is mostly Italian and does not have CNN or CNBC but there is complementary wireless internet (something that is less common in Europe than in the U.S.) in the apartment and who needs a TV when visiting Florence.
The apartment is a great value. It is between the train station and the Duomo and both are within 5 minute walks. You do not need a car when visiting Florence. The train station also has bullet trains to Rome, Milano and other major cities.
While the apartment is in downtown it is on a quite street and there is no noise coming to the 4th floor. You can sleep with the windows open or closed.
The apartment kitchen came very useful and we often had breakfast there or made coffee. The kitchen has all major appliances, pans and utensils including an Italian coffee maker. A few times we went to the nearby Mercato Centrale, which is two blocks away and has all kind of fruits, vegetables and original Italian meats and food. We cooked delicious dinners in the kitchen after the baby was asleep before going out to the nearby gelaterias for a late night gelato. Also, there is a decent grocery store across from the apartment.
If we go again to Florence we hope that Alberto (the owner) will have his apartment available for us again.

Excellent location in downtown Florence...couldn't ask for a more convenient local in between the Duomo and the train station. One bedroom was large enough to fit baby crib and couple, even the pull out couch in the living room was comfortable. The apartment could easily fit two couples. The washing machine was a very useful bonus as was the air conditioning (we were there in the heat of August). The kitchen was smaller but well-appointed and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Near shops, restaurants, grocery stores etc., couldn't ask for a better location! The apartment was on the top floor of a well-kept building, however there was no elevator and the stairs are steep. Immaculate and tastefully decorated, this apartment made a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of downtown Florence. Alberto (the landlord) was great, very accommodating but unobtrusive. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a beautiful, convenient apartment for a great price.

We were on alert to possible issues with our stay when the landlord didn't answer his phone when we called from the airport. He was in fact nowhere to be found throughout our three day stay. We met a very kind, but non-English speaking man to let us in the apartment. He valiantly tried to explain some details about the heat/ac and gas, and we did our best to understand. The apartment is very tidy and nicely setup. It's in such a convenient location! We did in fact find a book about the heat/ac after scrounging through drawers. We never did resolve the gas hot water and so took cold showers for 3 days. The stairs to the apartment are not for cowards, either. A mixed stay. Cute apartment, convenient to the trip, but the issues put a damper on the stay.
