The cottage was exactly as we had hoped. The decor and furnishings were modern, clean and of a high standard. All needs were catered for and the Yorkshire welcome basket was a lovely touch.

Nothing in relation to the property which was excellent. The only issue we had with our stay was finding the property in the first place. We clicked on the ‘directions’ in Booking.com and for some reason this took us to Low Lane in a neighbouring village and not Draughton. The owners of the property were very helpful and provided us with the postcode. One of the owners even greeted us on the road when we arrived in the dark.

Clean, lovely location and well decorated

The barn had such a warm, welcoming feel. As soon as we opened the front door and saw the open plan kitchen, dining area, and lounge, including a log burner, we were like 'wow'! Upstairs didn't disappoint either, lovely sized rooms, comfortable beds, the bathroom was spotless and the shower was hot and powerful. The welcome basket, along with milk and orange juice in the fridge, was a lovely touch.

The postcode on Apple and Google maps does not take you to the property. You are best to put in Draughton and then the property in on your right in the centre of the village.

Lovely comfortable house in a fab location for visiting Bolton Priory. The welcome pack was great and the place was so quiet and relaxing.
