Very nice, efficient space. Easy leisurely walk to multiple coffee shops. Numerous great restaurants very close as well. Less than 5 minute walk to Venice Beach Boardwalk. Marina del Rey is close. Santa Monica and Malibu are easy treks. Anywhere else is straightforward from the area. (Depending on your ability to adapt to LA driving.)
Checking in is a breeze. TV station selection allows for good down time entertainment, if you need it. Hosts are responsive, but otherwise leave you to yourself. Once again, very laid-back situation.
The Venice strip is full of variety. You want junk or high end, take your choice. More great food and drink.
And if you are gluten free, the options far exceed anywhere I've been and are not hard to find. Check out Saints and Sinners bakery on Lincoln. Very short drive; 1/2-hour walk.
Weather is cooler on the coast and walking is very comfortable. Bring a sweat for the morning and evenings.

very close to the beach, and alex was awesome to work with! quick response. super clean. this place was everything and more than we anticipated, and if i had one complaint it would only be that i couldn’t rate it higher.

the hosts let us check in accordingly to our arrival times, when we arrived the house studio was so welcoming, we loved our stay as it was clean and very cozy to stay the day in relaxing or go out and
come back to a cozy environment, the wine and breakfast at our doorstep was over the top special for the holiday! highly recommend, definitely will re rent this studio when we revisit!

The studio is in a great location, easy to walk to the beach and shopping/restaurants on Abbot Kinney! Check-in was easy and the place was very clean. Alex was an excellent host and was super responsive before/during our stay. We really enjoyed our visit!

From beginning to end, this was a fantastic experience and a wonderful stay we had in Venice Beach. Alex was the most attentive host and communication was so easy. The loft is super spacious and has everything one needs. I do not have one single negative thing to say about our stay. It was perfect!

I booked this apartment while I was in LA for meetings over the weekend. I was excited to stay in Venice and enjoy the area. But on Friday night the neighbors upstairs above the apartment threw a party. They played loud music and there was a roar of conversation and laughter. The walls/ceiling are paper thin and I could hear every word and they kept dropping things on the floor which came through like an explosion.
At 10:00 PM someone announced that it was time to make Bloody Mary’s at which point I could hear a bottle of champagne open and another person say they were making mimosas! I had early meetings on Saturday and Sunday that I needed to be rested for so I had to pack up, book a hotel and Uber off into the night. I did not return the following day because I worried that it might happen again.
It is a very nice apartment in a great location. It was just unfortunate that it was so loud making it difficult to sleep.

This property is in a great location within walking distance of the famous Venice Beach.
There are several great restaurants nearby as well.
I recommend going to Great White for breakfast or dinner - we did both and enjoyed the meals.
Walk over to Abbot Kinney Blvd for some excellent shopping and Craft Beer Bars as well.
The Venice Canals are also a nice place to walk over to from this apartment location.
The walk to the beach goes through a somewhat gritty part as there's usually homeless people sitting or lying on the sidewalks, so be prepared to see that if you stay here.
Overall it was a great place to stay and walk around.
Alex was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions I had.

Alex’s place is in the perfect location with venice beach being a 5 minute walk away. There is a lot to do in the area between the beach, exploring excellent restaurants, coffee shops, shopping on abbot kinney, and biking to Santa Monica. My friend and I rented a car for our stay to explore more of LA and had no problems with finding parking on the street. Alex was an excellent host with many great suggestions on what was going on in the area! I would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking to stay in the Venice Beach area. :)

Alex was an excellent host. He went above & beyond from accommodating check-in/check-out times to even purchasing a small cooler for our use! He was so responsive in responding to any & all inquires in a timely & warm way.
The bed was very comfortable & the studio was clean. I enjoyed the small details including the organic orange essential oil for the diffuser and the nice smelling hand soap.
The location was also great — a five minute walk from the Venice board walk and a 10min walk to Erewhon where we enjoyed most of our meals and Abbot Kinney Street perfect for window shopping.
I definitely recommend this five star experience. Thank you again Alex for your hospitality.

The studio located just off of Windward Circle in Venice. It is certainly roomy enough for one person or a couple. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is small and could use some updating. I gather the host does not live on site but he was very available to communicate within the VRBO app. He also was aware of my coming and going using a camera at the front door.

This place was perfect for a short work trip but would also be ideal for a vacation. It's close to great restaurants/shops and the beach. The host is an excellent communicator and very friendly.

Check-in and check-out were super easy. Alex was very responsive and we had a great stay. Others mentioned a lot of noise from the adjacent unit, but we didn't really hear much – just some normal-sounding opening and closing of doors every so often. Amenities were so nice. TV, microwave, wine glasses, and even a bottle of wine was left out for us! The bathroom was nice. Shower had soap and shampoo. Overall a great stay, and we would stay here again :)

I really liked the unit and the location was fantastic. It was very clean and the hosts even left a bottle of wine for us. The hosts were also very friendly. I only gave the check in process three stars because, on my particular trip, the link that would include the code to get in was not working on Vrbo’s site, so it was a little more difficult to get the access code for the unit. I think that might’ve been a unique glitch, though. Otherwise, the lock worked perfectly and it was easy to get in.

This studio apartment was in great shape and in a great location for food, shopping, and beach access. Everything was clean and well cared for and we had all of the amenities we needed for a multi-day stay. Alex was easy to communicate with and quickly answered all of our questions.

The studio was exactly as described and pictured online. The owner was very responsive and helpful, even giving me the heads up regarding First Friday on Abbot Kinney as an event to check out on the first night of my stay. The unit was extremely clean and well stocked. I didn’t have any issues with noise. The bed was very comfortable and the two fans came in handy on warmer days. Thanks, Alex!

part of this due to location / drunk, late night folks :: weekends were particularly problematic. I had to get out of bed at 2am (after an already noisy night) due to someone having a party in their van : that was the last night. Neither myself or my guest got any sleep to speak of.
Guests next door / upstairs (same unit?) > sounded like a pack of small elephants and their dog with more than one friend yelling from downstairs about how to get in.
The back ‘door’ has zero sound insulation - a proper door would help to mitigate that :: thankfully you only hear that (entrance) till they get to their accommodation.
So, mixed bag

Spent 4 great nights here in September 2023, to celebrate 40 years together with my wife. Venice has so much to offer: food, beach, fresh air, skate-park watching, and many more. This place is minutes from it all. It's small but complete and the owner is super responsive. Hope to come back.

Perfectly situated a short 5-10 min walk to Abbot Kinney, beach, & many restaurants. Easy check-in, fast communication, and street parking complemented a very comfortable studio setup and amenities (kitchenette, seating areas, etc.) for my husband and me. Two fans allowed us to take advantage of the cool, breezy evening weather indoors—A/C was not missed during our early Aug trip. Would stay again!

We didn’t know anything about Venice and could not be MORE HAPPY with the location. It was beyond excellent. 5 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to Abbot Kinny Blvd.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Fan were provided since there’s no AC. It only got muggy one night but putting a fan in the window solved that. Had everything we needed for our stay!

Everything about this stay was perfect. The location was ideal. Perfect walking distance to the Venice Boardwalk and Abbot Kinney Blvd. The size of the property was very nice. Everything inside the property was very clean and spa like. The owner communicated with me before my stay and throughout the week.
