We were organizing a family retreat for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and our requirements were: - pool for kids - proximity to the coast - enough rooms and beds - enough bathrooms - large dining areas to seat all of us (10 in this case) - able to cook meals in the home - a little something extra We were grateful for all of the above and the extras - like the arcade games, beach chairs, toys and games, and a fully stocked kitchen with a coffee maker. The dishwasher made it easy to stay on top of keeping things clean, and we never wanted for anything once we arrived. Overall, a great trip!

First, the good. The location was central to a lot of shops, restaurants, and the beach (about 10-12 mins away). It had enough rooms and beds for our group of 11 to gather comfortably. The enclosed pool was clean and a good size. There were PLENTY of towels for us... probably more than in any house I've every rented. The wi-fi was very fast and accessible throughout the house. The foosball, arcade, and pinball games were very cool bonuses. The bad: The check-in process wasn't as described. When we arrived, we couldn't get in. I had to call the owner, who realized they hadn't updated the process or Emailed me the change. There was a significant ant infestation, from the kitchen trash and even the garbage disposal. They were found in almost every space in the house. After the initial call, the communication was lacking with the owner. I had a number of texts that went unanswered. The main sliding glass door to the pool doesn't lock, so that was a safety issue. Overall, this house was fun and accommodated a large group easily. There are some issues that would've made it a lot more comfortable for us.

Ten of my coworkers and I had a work trip. This property was great for all of us. The house is beautiful and really big, there was enough space for all of us.

Had a 2 night stay at this property with 5 adults. It was very spacious and accommodating for all of us to have our own room comfortably. Very nice amenities and close proximity to everything we needed! Would stay again.

My wife and I stayed a total of 7 weeks to allow all our adult children and their families to come down during their school vacations. The house was perfect. It allowed us to stay on one side of the house with our own private bathroom and the rest of the house was available to the other families. The playroom with the pinball and Ms Pac(woman?) was used regularly as was the foosball. The den was comfortable with a very large TV, for movies and March Madness. Even the flooring and carpets were indestructible and easily kept clean. A/C and fans always kept the temperature just right. The easily accessible enclosed pool was a highlight although it was not a heated pool and therefore too cool in February,March for adults. Most kids braved it for short periods. The general location was perfect…quiet, residential, and a short drive to Ana Maria Island with its huge soft and beaches and seafood restaurants

The property looks run down from the outside, but the inside space is nicely decorated and updated. The layout and bathroom/bedroom arrangement worked well for our group of 12 family members. Could use more hand towels and wash cloths - only 2 per bathroom were provided. Could also use a supply of extra linens/blankets as each bed only has a sheet and bedspread.

I own a girl's lacrosse club and we had a group of coaches stay here--we were in Bradenton for a big tournament. The house is exactly as described in the listing--we had plenty of room for the 9 of us. The entire house is nicely updated and the kitchen was well stocked. I do wish there was nicer glassware--I understand the thought behind having only plastic cups, but it would have been nice to have some decent wine glasses. We cooked while there, and the knives were sharp! Unheard of in a rental property :) Good assortment of pots and pans, and the appliances were a good quality. All in all, we really enjoyed this house and will most likely book it again next year for this tournament.

We had a great time during our trip. The house was bigger than we expected and didn’t feel cramped with 12 guests. There was plenty of seating, and the 3 bathrooms were plenty. The house is located within 20 mins of pretty much anything you need, so with a rental car, it’s a perfect location. The only downside we had was the guests previous to us definitely left a mess (bottle caps near the pool, broken window, door handle was loose). The host let us know about the previous guest prior to our arrival.
