A bit of a walk to main centre about 30 mins but there are regular buses available.

Nice Room, Comfortable Bed & Pillows, Breakfast,Tea & Coffee self service in the morning & friendly staff member (Scott) explained everything guests need to know.

No cooked breakfasts available at present but its on the agenda with new kitchen & dining area coming soon for 2024 😀

It was really easy to find. Lots of free parking. Entry instructions were clear and simple. Room was spotless and the whole facility was clean. The communal room was lovely with lots of seating for when we had breakfast etc. it’s a decent walk to the amusement etc but worth being away from town.

Nothing bad to say about the property. I was unsure about the fact it would be shared bathrooms like an HMO but it was better than expected. The area near the building is a bit run down but overtime I think they will renovate the area. Not the fault of the hive.

The breakfast area was in ear shot of the bedrooms and I was awoken by other guests at 6.30 after getting to bed at 2.30 It would benefit by having a sink in the breakfast area.

Everything, it is a new B&B so the breakfast canteen is still under construction but there was a good selection of cold breakfast buffet items available. The rooms and facilities were finished to a high standard and clean. I would definitely recommend 100% and look forward to returning in the future to see how the canteen turns out, if it's anything like the rest, it will be top notch 👍

The only snag I can possibly think of was the 10 minutes walk to the sea front (walking to was no problem, walking back after spending the day there on your feet however 😆) But this is a minor thing and offset by the peace and quiet at night being just far enough away from the hustle bustle and night life the sea front has to offer.

Easy to collect Keys, breakfast was fine, no sink in communal kitchen,

The beds had very soft mattresses, no heating in the property, in progress. email received said we had booked an apartment, with balcony, BBQ, we got bedroom with all facilities shared with several occupants in bedrooms. Sea view had go go on tippy toes to see the sea.

Travellers parks across for the Hive, dog howling all night, rubbish in road

Everything was great but was confused about the shared bathroom to start with although the shower room was very clean & had a lovely shower !

Everything was more than we could have asked for. The hosts were amazing. The beds were super comfortable. The showers were excellent. There is absolutely nothing bad to say about it.

The showers are amazing! Free parking. Comfy beds. The owners really nice

The outside is not currently inviting as building works are being done and we weren't aware so as you approach it's quite off putting but it's temporary and I'm sure it'll look amazing once complete. Saying that the building works DO NOT disturb your day or night.

Host was very friendly and helpful and being able to park right outside was definitely a bonus.

Nothing that we didn't like but a suggestion of a sink in the prep/kitchen area would be a benefit

Clean - New facilities, friendly, everything you need for a stay

Didn’t want for anything can’t say anything bad about the place - work still being done at the back of the property but didn’t affect us would go back to see it when finished

This was a brilliant holiday, the staff were extremely helpful

The way we were welcomed

The friendliness of the people that owned it bed was comfortable but they were in the process of renovating so somethings weren't quite finished.like lock on bathroom door no tv in bedroom and no cooking facility but I think when finished it will be a good place to stay .we still had a nice stay thank you 😊
