So close to the beach.

There was sooooooooo many cockroaches! I couldn’t believe it! I had to throw out everything I own. Gross man. I could hear the people’s whole conversation in the next room.

Le personnel a été très aidant. Ils ont réagi très rapidement à nos demandes et nous ont accommodé. Rien à dire sur le service c'était parfait. L'emplacement est idéal. Restos à distance de marche, place très proche et emplacement très calme.

La chambre était petite pour 4 personnes mais pour un couple c'est idéal. Les matelas étaient de grandeur doubles sur une base de Queen. Donc pourquoi ne pas changer pour des Queens le moment venu et je dirais que le moment serait bon pour les changer. Pas inconfortable mais on sent l'usure. Salle de bain petite mais fonctionnelle. La chambre aurait besoin d'un coup de peinture.

We were given a room with a broken air conditioner, a TV that did not work, and a Full size mattress, although the website indicated a Queen size. I asked for a refund for one night but was refused. We didn't sleep all night because the air conditioning didn't work and the temperature outside was +23.

Location was the only redeeming feature. The bare concrete floors had been painted Because the unit was four houses up from the beach, we expected the sand on the floors.

There is almost NO way to communicate with Booking.com about this property. The First attempt to get permission to leave baggage early in the day took several days to get a vague reply. All other attempts to use booking.com's chat or reply mode resulted in error messages stating undeliverable mail. Booking.com appeared to have sold our reservation to a chap in the USA who had no idea what was going on and kept saying how busy he was. By now my wife wanted reassurance that there would be a place waiting for us when we got off the cruise ship. No answers from this USA chap and one hour before permitted entry at 4PM we got an email from someone in Holland with instructions to open the lock box. On arrival we found a rusted derelict SUV in front of the unit, an open lock box with key. On entry we found two beach towels, two medium towels, two cute baskets with a couple of facecloths in each. Two mattresses that looked originally as if they were sitting on the floor. Two wavey topped benches were at the foot of each mattress. The bathroom/shower room floor had a pool of water on it that appeared to be coming from the pedestal of the sink or maybe from the shower stall. Two extremely cheap double mattresses on extra cheap metal frames about 4 inches off the floor were the beds. The strangest thing was the ONLY LIGHT in the room was the old ceiling light, updated with a new +-$8.00 LED fixture. The light switch was located on the other side of the bedroom, as far as possible from the head of the mattresses. How much does one of those wooden boxes from IKEA cost to put between the two mattresses and an IKEA lamp you could reach from the Mattresses? We soaked up the bathroom water with the small towels and used the beach towels as carpets to keep the sand from sticking to our feet. In the morning there were two? street people sleeping in the derelict SUV, we noticed a petrified dog turd in the gravel beside the door to our unit.

The bed needs to be change to a more comfortable one. It was an old spring bed that was in the unit I stayed.
