This was a great little hotel! I was pleasantly surprised. Nice hot breakfast each morning, friendly staff, clean room with nice amenities, and super convenient location in Gunnison. Would definitely stay again!

This Wingate was very comfortable and clean, with hard flooring for my pet-friendly room - better than carpeting. For one of the least expensive hotels in Gunnison, it was excellent. Comfortable beds, clean and plenty of linens, and upon my request, they provided cotton sheets rather than the microfiber bedding I dislike. Excellent customer service. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, well-lit room, with a free hot breakfast (waffles, eggs, muffins, bagels, juices, coffees) I recommend this Wingate.

There was no stop knob on bath tub so impossible to use

It was a nice place to stay, just a normal motel room, kind of an older facility. Nice shower. The bathroom sink faucet is a little difficult to turn on and off. The refrigerator wasn't very cold and no freezer compartment. Bed was comfortable. Didn't use the TV.

shower had mold under the edge , breakfast was at 7 our group of 20 at the hotel needed to leave at 6:40 front desk told us at check in we could get cereal coffee and fruit at 6:30 just no hot breakfast until 7 but the lady cooking locked us out and ignored us when we knocked and would not open the door. only good thing was beds were comfortable. Front desk offered the option of cereal and coffee so don't offer something and then not do it.

First off the rooms do not look like pictures this place is in need of serious upgrades. Beds were hard and super old. sheets were smelly the towels were hard and smelled as well. Our room was not cleaned there was food crumbs lots dirt on floor. The breakfast was good.

Don't judge this motel by its outside appearance. I stayed in another motel last month that wasn't half this nice last month and cost more. I was impressed by the dual sinks, hot tub and shower. The interior is nicely updated and the staff is friendly. I will stay here again.

This hotel is adequate. There is nothing special about it and it is a bit worn-down. We didn't feel it was a good value based on the price we had to pay and the condition of the hotel. The location is convenient and we were able to easily walk to shops and restaurants.

Staff was not at desk, we waited 10 minutes. We were given our room key, there was someone already in the room. Grounds were dirty, cigarette buts leaves, trash in black bags in common area.

Remodeled, cute. Floors were dirty and needed more electricity to the bathroom. Could gave light and coffee pot, hair dryer on at the same time. But convenient. Decent parking. Quiet, good food nearby. Nice staff. Average breakfast.

This hotel is under new ownership and you can tell. It is an older property and still needs some renovation especially in the bathrooms. Overall good stay, close to the college, and staff was top notch!

The property was fine, but if you want to sleep, this is not the property for you. Imagine a concrete slab where inexplicably you can also feel the bed springs poking through. To say it was awful, would be a gross misstatement.

The pictures are very deceiving. The whole place needed updated. Our room had drywall missing, dirty floors, bad mattresses, remote would not work to change the channel, the hot tub jets didn't work. The breakfast was ok, but cheap food. Way overpriced at $230.00 pre night! Was expecting more from Wyndham. Would have switched hotels, but nothing much better available. I think I deserve a refund of at least half of my money for what we received.

Our room layout was acceptional for traveling with 4, but we were traveling with 5. There is no pullouts and getting a roll away was more difficult than need be. The floors in several of the units were very dirty and there were 2 full size towels provided for 5 guests. It just felt unprepared. The staff took a little to get them to warm up, but they did finally come around. The beds were pretty stiff and sadly the springs were present and accounted for. The pool was great! Too many chemicals, but fun, spacious and great for oyr kiddos to enjoy themselves

This is a decent place if you're just looking for a bed, shower, and toilet. The pool was grimey, and looked like it hadnt been cleaned for a long time. The breakfast was awful... you can tell theyre trying to cut costs. The smoke alarm was disconnected from the wall, the lamp shade was cracked, one of our pillows looked like it had blood splatter on it, the AC unit was pretty much just a fan, and we couldnt use the lock on the door. We stayed for 7 days and they wouldnt add any reward points to my account since I booked through Expedia, even though I've stayed at several hotels that were able to add reward points without any issues. The staff was nice and friendly, but I probably wont ever stay here again.

This hotel could really use some upkeep. The wallpaper was dirty and peeling in the bathroom and also in the main area. The light fixture between the bed was askew and could not be fixed. The toilet was an old style, round toilet that sat very low to the floor. The chair in the room faced the door because there was no other space it would fit. The air conditioner was loud

There was a rotisserie chicken just sitting on the table as soon as I opened the door to my room. It almost seemed as if I was given a room that someone was already staying in except the beds were perfectly made. The front desk was kind and gave me a new room no questions asked. I’ll avoid staying here on future trips to Gunnison. There were some other suspicious things I saw, but I don’t want to tarnish their name any further. I don’t usually write reviews but this was a pretty bad experience.

The bed was very uncomfortable, floor hadn't been cleaned for awhile, breakfast was supposed to be ready at 6:30 (posted time) and didn't open until 7. Hotel in dire need of updates/renovations
