The hotel was near the airport - as described, but the cab driver who drove me to the airport charged double 25 euro for a 12-euro fare (per meter) and the area around the hotel looked unsafe and dirty.

While this property was by the subway, it was in the middle of nowhere, in a sketchy part of town. Our room smelled so badly of smoke, and the bed was rock hard. The breakfast was okay; traditional Italian breakfast offerings. The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean for the most part, aside from the mold we had in our shower. It was affordable, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Breakfast was good. The area is a little shady, but yet again Napoli is not the prettiest city. Its close to the airport by taxi in 10 minutes. I would not recommend walking around the neighborhood at night.

We had a very late night time arrival from Madrid. The flight was delayed by almost one hour so we got to the hotel at 11.30pm. The hotel has an arrangement with a taxi company to pick up and deliver clients from the airport to the hotel for 17 euros. When we arrived at Joyfull we were met by a very agreeable young man who checked us in with a smile. The room is very pleasant with an outside patio and chairs that we will unfortunately not get to sample because checkout is 10am and we are moving on to central Naples.

The Joyfull Hotel was clean and quiet and a great place to stay close to the airport, especially if you have dinner at Trattoria Don Alphonso! It is not in a very nice area however!

Great hotel close to underground in to city.

We were allowed to check in at noon, they changed our room when our original basement room smelled too musty and damp and gave us a new one that was quiet and clean and nice. The location is in a regular-type neighborhood, and there is only the one restaurant nearby (menu is in Italian, fyi). It was very near the airport (about 10 min drive early the next day).

Liked it was close to airport and in good shape Neighbourhood was scary.

Extremely rough place but nice hotel for the price

We stayed here because we had an early flight out. The area was alright- a good restaurant was in walking distance, which was good because we thought the hotel served dinner but they don’t. Staff was nice. Towels were weird. But it got the job done!

Absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel but the location was disappointing. It was in a run down area of Naples and we felt uncomfortable walking around. Also we were informed when we arrived that the nearest restaurants were closed because it was a holiday. We would have eaten at our previous location had we been informed of this in advance. However, our stay was only for 1 night and was conveniently near the airport for an early flight back the next morning.

Very clean hotel/room. Big, airy room. Weird towels - from cloth, not actual towels. Bed needs mattress upgrading. Wi-Fi not good, working very slowly. Service was OK but speaking English when you have such a business is a MUST and they spoke rather "italinglish". Location - close to the airport but in a very dirty and unwelcoming (to say the least) neighborhood. Breakfast - OK if you do not care about your glycemic index and if you're not vegan. If you are - no breakfast. Months in advance I wrote to the hotel saying that I am vegan and I would appreciate having fresh fruit. They never replied and there was no fresh fruit. Thus for a night's stay, close to the airport (having your flight the next day) it is a good hotel to stay. For more than that, no.

Great hotel for a short stay, area is run down but handy for airport. Get hotel to organise airport taxi as we were charged 30 euro for 10 min trip. And just 17 when hotel ordered one to take as back to airport!

very good hotel .local restaurant really good 100m away. area slightly risque. But good if you have a late flight into naples and don't want too travel to far. very clean rooms and good breakfast. would stay again

Bed seemed clean but we encountered itchiness lying down on it

We picked this hotel due to proximity to the airport because we had a very early flight. We had 3 rooms. Check in was easy. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The area was terrible. I would not feel comfortable walking up and down the street in the daylight, let alone the dark. The beds were not comfortable. The towels were strange and not very absorbing. Only redeeming factor is it’s close to the airport. If you can stay here for the night and not have to leave the hotel it is perfect

If this hotel could be picked up and located in a better part of Naples it would do excellent business unfortunately arriving by bus we had to drag our case along a highway that had been used for fly tipping by 100 different people and not cleared also a local prostitute made use of a dumped chair as she plies her trade on the highway. In order to get to local transport it was a good 200 metres away throug a dodgy area unless you want to pay extortionate taxi fares having said that Giuseppe the manager was excellent and let me have use of a corkscrew and some ice as well as ordering us a local cab for the airport. As I said if this hotel were anywhere else I would recommend wholeheartedly.

We needed a place for one night and found this hotel on line. The pictures looked good as did the reviews. We got there in the evening. The hotel is in a seedy area and we did not initially feel comfortable as we pulled up. In fact, we sat outside debating whether to go in. After 15 minutes of deliberation we decided to go in. The staff was great, the hotel was clean and we had a very fine, uneventful stay. In a better neighborhood this hotel we wouldn’t have thought twice about staying. I’m glad we decided to stay!! This is a classic “don’t judge a book by its cover “ situation.

We had a great stay the hotel was clean, room was clean, staff extremely welcoming. Tried their best with speaking english and we managed well to communicate. I would stay here again, we had a great time. The wifi worked perfect in all parts of the hotel, i dont have anything bad to say

The hotel itself is nice with fairly spacious rooms. However, it is in a very sketchy section of Naples, and there is nothing within walking distance of the hotel. This hotel is good for a one-night stay before departing for the airport (it is close to the airport.) I wouldn't use this hotel for a longer stay in Naples. It cost 25 euros to get to the airport by taxi, and we paid 16 euros on average to reach sites of interest in downtown Naples.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, where their limited but adequate knowledge of English allowed. The cleanliness of the hotel and rooms was excellent and inobtrusive. Furniture a bit limited for two people. The hotel is in a fairly 'shabby' area, but certainly not the worst area of Naples we encountered. For the confident the hotel is very accessible from the airport by car and busses, trams and metro are only a 5-10 minute walk away. Best described as an oasis in a grubby area, but 'hey' this is Naples. Would certainly stay there again.

We booked this hotel as we wanted to be close to the airport, if you don't mind a 30 min walk its actually within walking distance. The hotel is immaculate, with very modern fixtures and fittings. You can get cabled broadband in the room and wireless Internet everywhere else, as our room was close to reception we were able to connect to wi-fi in our room. The receptionist is very helpful and can Bol taxis for you. They have limited parking on the street but have a private, gated car park that is €15 per night. There isn't really much to do in the surrounding areas and there aren't many restrurants either. however the food in the hotel's restaurant was nice, but the restaurant is lacking atmosphere. If you're looking for something close to the airport this is unbeatable and the price is fantastic. If we're in Naples again I would definitely revisit this hotel
