Clean and comfortable stay. Simple and new hotel. Only thing is no restaurants except for buffet breakfast. DIY storage, so you need to store your luggage yourself.

Location is excellent, close to the Ximending area but also avoid the hilustle and bustle too. Front desk staff are polite and hotel is pretty new and clean. I will definitely stay there again next time.

Front desk service is exemplary, we asked for higher floor with nice view and they did it ! Room was clean and so was bathroom. Front desk staffs greeted you every time you walk-by with a smile. That shows the staffs are well trained. I will definitely go back to stay next time when I visit Taipei. The location is great with Ximending just round the corner. MRT station is 4 minutes away. Food and shopping nearby, this a a sure win.

Wonderful location in exciting tourist area Ximending! The doors to enter the hotel are impressive. Friendly and helpful staff! The room was comfortable and slept well on the bed. Lucky to receive a high floor and the view was great!

The location is great and it is very near to Taipei Main Train station. There are many places for food and you can get your breakfast downstairs (within 5mins walk)

The service of the front desk is limited and very strict in their policies, do not expect any flexibility on check-in time, no complimentary early check-in available. They would also refuse to help customer to bring things back to the room from the front desk.
I am certain that they have some operational issues within. I accidentally left a shirt on the sofa in the room, but didn’t realized until I unpacked my suitcase when I arrived home. I was 100% sure that I have left it in the room, I called back and asked if they have found it left in the room, but the front desk claimed that they didn’t see it and someone had already occupied the room in the afternoon. So I am questioning what their house keeping team did with lost & found item.

Housekeeping is alternate days but you can request for daily cleaning.

Triple Room with 3 beds is spacious and clean. Very convenient to shopping and eating places. Lots of shops, train station about 8 to 10 mins walk. Taxis always available in front of hotel. Lobby is bright, clean and inviting. Breakfast is western, Japanese (no sashimi) and Taiwanese. At the side of the hotel, small breakfast place selling Taiwanese breakfast and Soya bean drink, very nice & tasty. Reception staff are courteous, friendly and helpful.

It is an immaculate hotel that is relatively new. The staff spoke at least three languages (English, Mandarin, and Japanese), if not more. It is a 2-minute walk to Ximending. Rooms are considered big in Taipei, and they come with a bathtub.

Mr.Lo from the front desk is very helpful and reminds me of the details about the surroundings and the main use of public transport is far better than renting a car. I got this very warmly and gently.

We would have given it a 5 except for 2 things: 1. Checkin experience was very negative. The receptionist checked us in only telling us what we are not entitled to (we chose not to purchase breakfast), no daily room cleaning, no bathroom amenities, etc, but did not tell us about the nice hotel features like free coffee, free water delivered to room etc.
2. Elevators were difficult to get hold of time of checkout. Since it has about 25 floors wity the rooms starting above 6 floor, you are very dependent in the elevators. They are ysually fast but avoid them just before 11am.

We loved our stay at Solaria Nishitetsu! The lobby is absolutely beautiful and so are the rooms. Although it is a bit small if you have multiple large suitcases so just be warned! Staff are super friendly and accomodating, due to the typhoon we had to cancel our trip to Taichung and extend our stay here and the staff were able to help accomodate this without us having to move rooms. We also love the gym and laundry facilities here! Hotel is located in a great area, close to both bus and train as well as the popular ximending shopping district. Will definitely stay with them again in future :)

Despite staying for three nights, our rooms were not cleaned. We were told that the rooms get cleaned every other day. However, despite being out most of the day, we came back to dirty rooms.
