This house was perfect for our large group! The house had everything we needed and was a very short walk to the beach. The location was close to everything and the pool was great!

This home was perfect for our family of 14 (5 being kiddos 7-12 in ages). Extremely CLEAN, with plenty of room for all of us and we didn't feel like we were ontop of each other. Loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils for us to cook. Our vacation was the first for my husband and I to have all our adult kids and grandbabies together for an entire week and we all had a blast. The location was perfect, not far from the Hang out, the beach was a short walk across street and can be seen and heard from front porches, the bay can been seen from back deck and can watch the sunrise from there as well. Oh the pool was a hit with kiddos too. We cant thank Richard and his crew enough for a perfect home and for checking on us throughout our stay to make sure all was good. 5-stars is not enough as this house exceeded that. We will book again, our grandbabies said “your house is LIT”, thanks again Richard! The Russell family, East Tennessee

Shells was very beautiful. Very quiet location. Within driving range of restaurants, shops, and other activities. The beach was within walking distance and was not crowded. The kids enjoyed the pool that was a nice amenity. The house was huge (stayed in the East side, 6 bedrooms of the 2-sided duplex), big enough to fit all of us and then some. I would recommend Richard's to anyone looking to stay at Gulf Shores, Alabama.

The place was great. We had a blast.

We have a large family and had plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the pool and the large decks. It was very easy to access the beach. There were grills left by previous renters so we took advantage!

Everything was great!! Our whole team stayed in both sides of the house. Everyone got along pretty well. The pool was a ton of fun for all of the kids since they all knew each other. Beach was great-yellow flags all week…the weather 🥵 well, let's just say, I'm from Arkansas and the humidity was insane 🤣 it was a fun, relaxing week with our friends and plenty of space for everyone. Loved how the outdoor balcony up too connected so the kids could go back and forth with their friends.

I loved Shells East!! There was so much space for our group and we were able to come and go from the beach as much as we wanted!! You can see the water from almost all the bedrooms! The pool was a great addition for a really windy day when we wanted a more relaxed place to lay out!

So first I want to say that I gave 3 stars for "accuracy of online listing" only because the pictures did not do this place justice. I think they are a bit out date. The house was beautiful! It fit my party of 25 comfortably (we rented both sides of this duplex. We were here for a wedding weekend. Everyone was able to bunk up and have their own or shared bed. Each room had its own bathroom. Everything was clean and maintenance was already in changing out batteries in some of the smoke detectors. We had our own beach access right across the street, which we used as the entrance to our isle for the wedding ceremony. Kitchens were stocked with everything we needed. Property manager was quick to respond to questions we had about the area, they even sent text updates about beach weather and easy directions about check in/out. The only downside was the many flights of stairs, but that's too be expected for a sizable home. Overall we enjoyed staying here and would 100% recommend any family to stay. Any wait to come back!

We had a great week! The set up of the house is great, and we love that each bedroom has a bathroom. The kids loved the lights in the pool. We loved your home and will definitely consider returning as long as we can still fit! Our family grows each year with marriage and babies!

We had a very nice time at Shells. The pool was big and got a lot of use! The beach access right across the street was very convenient versus walking to the public beach access. All in all, it was a great trip!!

Our ball team stayed in both sizes of this house. It was great. We loved having plenty of space for everyone to sleep as well as spread out. We also enjoyed the outdoor area under the house where we could all get together and eat. It was also nice to have the pool together with our friends. We liked the outside deck on the upper floor as well as the balconies on several of the rooms. The only issue we ran in to with so many families was parking. The parking is kind of tight. Fortunately since we knew everyone in both sides of the house we were able to make 3 rows of vehicles and work it out. Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I loved this home !!!!! It’s was really nice and clean !!! They made us feel like we were home!!!! We had so much space !!!!! The beach was walking distance!!!! The OWA water park was like 30 min away!!! And there was so much to do……we really wasn’t ready to leave but our vacation came to an end!!!!! We will book again in the future!!!!

We had 17 family members stay for a vacation. The place was spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the pans, dishes and cutlery that we would need. The pool was clean and private. It was a short walk across the street to get to the beach with no problem crossing. We had a minor problem with a bathroom drain and they were there to fix it within the hour. I would highly recommend this place or any house these owners rent. We will definitely book with them when we go back.

We needed a place to stay for a month or so while we opened up a new restaurant. This house met our needs....plenty of bedrooms, baths and space for everyone.
