The home was beautiful, linens clean, and home welcoming. Beach Box was so responsive throughout the booking process and even upon arrival. It was great to find a place with all the king beds and en suites for all our extended family to have a comfortable space for the weekend. We went with the ordering pizza and catering route, so we didn’t really cook, but it looked like basic appliances and pots and pans were well appointed. Rented a golf cart which was great to get around. Beach access parking is right across the main road and easy to walk to, but golf cart was nice for the grandparents and trips back to the house as needed. No Keurig, fyi. We didn’t even check and all brought coffee pods, but there is a regular percolating coffee pot with filters. Outdoor furniture on deck was really nice and we spent a lot of time outside. Parking for more than 4-5 vehicles in driveway may be tight. We had 4 and fit comfortably. Awesome private pier for fishing in Sea Isle neighborhood with bait shop right there. Thanks!

We had a great time at the house! Good for all guests, we had ages 6 months to 65 years old. Close to the beach access. Good porch space for family fun.

We were really pleased with our house! It was very comfortable and homey feeling! Not too far from the beach. We placed a grocery pickup order and picked it up on the way thru Galveston because there are not many places to get groceries in the area! I would recommend taking extra bath towels, kitchen towels, and paper towels, paper plates and throw away utensils. There were plenty of dishes and utensils but it makes it easier not to have to wash dishes as much! Besides there is not a dish drain and you only get 3 kitchen towels! I recommend bringing a dish drying mat.
The bathrooms were very nice but they didn’t have any place to hang your towels to reuse them and the towel hanger by the sink was placed so low that you couldn’t hang a hand or bath towel only a wash cloth. All in all we had a great time staying at the Big Tuna/BeachBox

Very accommodating and beautiful home! All bedrooms have king beds (some rooms have additional bunkbeds), and there are a lot of bathrooms in the house. The kitchen is well-equipped for a large family. The beach is a short walk. We will likely book this house again because it is just perfect for our growing family!

My family and I had a wonderful time! The house was super clean and wonderfully decorated. Lots to do for everyone! Also, food trucks and cute bars close. Hope to stay again SOON!

We had four couples stay and the house was perfect with each couple having their own bedroom and bathroom.
Check in was easy and the hose was very clean.
The only issue was the front door lock was broken and you could not lock it. Also the handle was loose.
However I would definitely recommend this place if you have a large group

We had an awesome time however the house had several issues that we had to keep informing the host about. I’m sure the host was well aware of the issues before we arrived. I think we should have been told at check in about the issues so we wouldn’t have to take pictures and videos of all that stuff. It took a lot of our time calling, emailing and texting the host. The phone service is bad in the house so calls and messages were not going thru even with the WiFi connected. Had a hard time connecting with the host. One of the dining chairs was broken, the walls had scuff marks and dents in several places, the doors in the a few of bathrooms has water damage . One of the toilets would not flush but they fixed that in a timely manner. Overall we had an awesome time it was just a little stressful trying to inform the host of the multiple issues. I didn’t want to be blamed for those issues.

Our little girls trip was perfect. We loved the location of the house and size. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Only thing I would suggest is the house needs blinds. It was hard to change clothes without worrying someone is looking in. But house was close to beach and beautiful.

The house was excellent and as described. There was a lot of room for everyone. We had 5 couples in our family group and each basically had their own master suite. It is a short walk to the beach and and there is a bar and food truck area less than a block away. Would stay again if we were in the area
