Clean room and room is spacious. Toilet is nothing fancy and the shower area is very near to toilet bowl and does not have partition and hence you will spill water over the floor. Other than that, is about a 15-20 minutes walk from custom. Nearby at R&F mall has some eateries and restaurant. Breakfast can skip as the choices are really limited and does not taste good. The food is kinda cold and tasteless. For the price, overall still a good stay.

The place is very clean and new. The hotel room is small but it's comfortable enough for me, no issue on that. The only downside is there is no parking available on-site.

Checked in at the wrong JB centre Fives Hotel, not aware that we booked one was Fives hotel Meldrum, do not know there r 3 Fives Hotel in JB, took a grab over to Jalan Meldrum n that is a very quiet place, have to walk very far to eatery n shopping centre, either Changi city or R n F mall

Clean and comfortable to stay

Room Spaces is enough for party of 4 even though there only 2 of us. Beds are spacious and comfy. Most aspects are within expectations except for the lack of varieties and too little toilet paper for cases of frequent toilet trips.

It was a pleasant stay

We enjoyed the excellent reception service provided by Ms Sharifa and Ms. Rekha. Very much hospitality oriented individuals. The staff in general was very pleasant and willing to help. The room lacked a few facilities like soap at the sink to wash hands and face, no face towels were available either. Location is currently in construction area and the RF Mall was only accessible by an overhead bridge which was difficult to climb up to, especially for older people. I guess the hotel has no control over this. The dining choices in close proximity were poor. All said and done we were safe in the hotel and appreciated the cleanliness.

Not advisable to walk to city square especially the night time too quiet to walk since the hotel located at the small lane it better to do a grab . Breakfast is not nice Overall the hotel is clean and one thing they provide one roll of toilet paper for each room which is a bit too little but the staff is friendly and helpful

The hotel was newly renovated. The rooms were clean & the beds were comfortable. The rooms had some new wood smell. Simple breakfast was provided. The staff were friendly. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The hotel was not at walking distance to the malls. Needed to grab or cab.

It was a great stay for my family and the breakfast buffet is just nice for the price we paid. The family room has issue on electric trippin affecting the power on of the TV set. Overall, great stay experience.

Great stay with Fives Hotel. Breakfast was provided and room is clean. Able to link your Netflix on TV. It’s located at the back of another hotel, took us a while to locate it. Overall it’s a great convenient place to stay as it’s quite near to Johor Checkpoint.

The only good point of this hotel is that it is new. The room is clean and furnishings are new. It is also not too far from JB SENTRAL train station. However I could not check in until around 4pm! And the Deluxe double room (in fact all their deluxe rooms) has NO windows! This was not stated in the hotel.com booking, which was terrible!

Got confused with Fives JBCC and ended up with wrong branch. Staff said it’s a very common mistake. Room is big but no window. Water not hot enough and there’s nothing much around the area, nearest mini mart is 5min walk away unless go to the mall for supermarket. Breakfast spread is ok, local noodles and rice, salad, bread but no egg station. Overall it’s good for a short stay

During my check in time, the receptionist never given me a time frame for breakfast and when i came at reception counter at 11:00AM then there was no more breakfast and also i requested for a refund but the female staff denied me to give my refund for not giving me a breakfast service. So overall my experience in this hotel is a very poor and below my expectations.

The place very new and nice

Reception - Was assigned a room (#213) without window...Front Desk Reception could have highlighted this upon check-in. Room - The room is clean and spacious, except that the bathroom is a little smaller than usual. Breakfast - The dining area is simple and nice, the buffet breakfast has a good variety of choices, service staff very attentive and the chef interacted with guests to explain and understand food preferences
