We have a group of 7 senior women that go once a year for several days. The house was perfect for us. Had everything we needed and wanted. Loved the screen porch spent lots of time at huge island/table. The house was clean and well taken care of.

We had a fantastic girl's weekend here! The house was clean, spacious and perfectly stocked for cooking/eating. It is absolutely adorable and set us so nicely for visiting with friends/family but also great bedrooms/bathrooms for personal space. Management was great. The hot tub was a fun addition as well! I would highly recommend to all!

Our stay at Westaway was lovely! The house exceeded our expectations.We loved the screened in porch especially in the mornings to hear all the birds. The access to amenities (pool, pickle ball courts, etc) was a great resource. The hot tub was also a relaxing amenity. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked all our meals there. We would return!

Such a fun trip to Galena and the house was perfect for our time together! So much space to enjoy and the mornings spent on the deck were priceless as we witnessed a momma doe tending to her fawns, wild turkey marching in a line in the brush, and hummingbirds who greeted us at eye level. Four ladies rented Westaway for a long weekend visiting Galena. The house was very clean and well appointed. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom which made getting ready in the morning very easy. The house has so many gathering spots, but we gravitated toward the lovely large screened in porch--perfect for having a glass of wine after a long day of shopping and exploring! The neighborhood was very quiet too. Would highly recommend!

This property was amazing. Likely the best property we've ever stayed. The house is newer and the most completely furnished of any house we've ever rented. Even down to items like charger stations on both night stands in the master bedroom. All was in great working order. Even the walk to the front door and the condition of the landscaping gave you the feeling the house would be clean and well kept. The only question is about property management...but we didn't need them. The house was exactly as advertised. Management was never needed. Galena Territory is HUGE so there is a bit of a drive to downtown Galena...but this property was amazing!

This is an amazing place - it has everything! The process of booking and receiving information was smooth. The house was immaculate! The property is along a wooded area and it was so nice to sit in the hot tub and feel like we were away from the hustle of the city. Short drive to Galena which has fun shops and restaurants. And it was nice to get outside and walk the trails of the Galena Territory. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

We had an amazing stay. Check-in was easy. The house was clean and inviting. We loved sitting in the hot tub winding down at the end of the night. The kids enjoyed all the games the house had and swimming at the clubhouse pool. Thank you for sharing your home with our family!

The house was immaculate and fully stocked with everything we needed. It was conveniently located to Galena and we enjoyed it for our ski adventure at Chestnut Mountain. It was perfect for two families, and had a great space for cooking and plenty of space for everyone to sit and eat after a long day on the slopes.

Every year my husband and I do a New Years Eve Brunch. This year we decided to host our event away from home. The Westway home was everything and more. The house did not disappoint. The home is very cozy. The kitchen is very spacious and the quartz table seats 10 people. The quartz table is where we spent a bulk of our time eating and playing games with family and friends. Everyone ❤️ the house. Just an FYI, the down stairs bedroom was cooler than the rest of the house. My sister enjoyed this room because she likes her room cool. The family room was very inviting and we loved the fireplace. The loft is an added bonus to this amazing home. Don't take my word, book the Westway and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed!! We will definitely book this house again!

Our party of 9 was absolutely shocked when we arrived at Westway! The house is stunning and charming. It was spotlessly clean, and stocked with everything you need. You can tell Pat and Patti (the owners) but a ton of time into making this house the perfect getaway for their guests. We loved the massive kitchen table/island. Perfect for a game night table. We can not wait to go back!

This property was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had 6 adults and 3 kids, and had plenty of space for all of us. It was nice to be away from town, but close enough to get to shopping, museums and restaurants. The owners club was a nice perk too. We would definately stay here again!

We booked this home first in 2020, but had to cancel due to Covid. This year we rebooted to celebrate a 50th birthday party. Wow, did this place live up to expectations, and then some. From the 4 bedrooms with each a bathroom, this was a group or couples dream. The AC was perfect, the shower pressure can blow your skin off (smile).. we really loved that-- and all the extra touches just made this house really feel like home. Pat and Patti were so easy to talk with and gave so many tips and suggestions for our stay that we have absolutely nothing but fond memories. It was tough to leave this beautiful home nestled in Galena. Oh, forgot to mention the Owners Club.. that was AMAZING!! Pool tables, fully equipped gym, indoor lap pool, outdoor pools and food/Cafe.. made for a perfect Friday afternoon. Thanks a million!!

Pat and Patti have the most lovely home. It’s so tidy, clean and has everything you could want to relax, cook and get away. The screened in porch was a favorite of ours to have a few drinks, play some games with the kids. The kiddos and adults loved the hot tub and fooseball table, such a blast. The home is gorgeous and has plenty of room to be together or take some time to chill apart. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. Pat and Patti are great hosts, the best I’ve ever had in regards to details, follow up and care.

We we’re lucky enough to spend 16 magnificent nights at Westaway in May of 2020. The title of my review says it all, the trip was pure heaven. From the minute we arrived, to the moment we left, we felt like we were at home there. So many wonderful things about this house; the cute coffee bar, the peaceful screened in porch, the relaxing hot tub, the beautiful forest it backs up to, just to name a few. The list could go on and on. Pat and Patti are the most wonderful hosts and they were helpful from the beginning to the end, always making sure we had what we needed. They have truly created a blissful hideaway in The Galena Territory that sticks out from all the rest. We cannot wait to get back to Westaway!!!

For the last seven years we have traveled to different locations to golf with three other couples. Everyone loved this house and It was agreed by all of us that this was by far one of the nicest places we have stayed. We had everything we needed and the fact that each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom was great!! The beds were extremely comfortable. We would highly recommend this property and we will definitely rent this home again when we return to Galena. It was a wonderful weekend! Wish we could have stayed longer - hopefully next time.

This property is perfect for a family setting. It is clean, comfortable, and has everything you could absolutely need during the stay. We used it as a physical distancing getaway and it was exactly what we needed. The beds are the most comfortable! And foosball and the hot tub for fun to be able to use too.

My mom and 2 sisters and I spent an extended weekend at Westaway and loved it! The house was wonderful with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths and everyone getting their own bed/bath combo. One bedroom is in the basement, the master is on the main level and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The updates were wonderful and amenities were plentiful. Pat and Patti were very responsive to every question I asked and anything we needed was already on hand. They thought of everything! This property is cozy and comfortable with great gathering spaces for friends and family. We can't wait to return!
