The hotel has obviously been meticulously restored and the rooms are wonderful. Our breakfast was included and was individually prepared by the chef along with a barista coffee. Totally unexpected but so much better than normal hotel breakfasts. Would highly recommend the Tattersalls Hotel for a stay in Armidale.

Superb. Obviously the best place to stay in Armidale and probably the entire region. It's located right in the centre of town on the very quiet pedestrian shopping mall. The building itself is restored art deco - but we're talking at a level rarely seen. It was restored in 2019 (I think) and is so impeccably done that it's breathtaking. Everything - and I mean everything - is true to the art deco aesthetic and I spent a ridiculous amount of time wondering how the owners could have sourced the modern versions of light fittings etc. We stayed in the Chancellor's Suite for three nights and, take my advice, book this if you can. It's basically a mini apartment complete with a faux log fire and huge bathroom with an equally huge tub. It is definitely the case that the more you are willing to pay, the bigger and better the room. (The cheapest option may disappoint). Other rooms are simply very nice, tastefully decorated hotel rooms. Breakfast is included - really, really good with plenty of cooked options, alternative milks etc. The staff was terrific. Super helpful and welcoming at reception and lovely in the restaurant for breakfast. Congratulations to the owners and managers of this place. Faultless. (But would have loved to see a destination charger for electric cars in the carpark!)

Property was very nice. Breakfast was good. However all the windows were frosted and unopenable. I wish I could have seen outside.

Delightful hotel, with art deco styling - big comfortable rooms. We really enjoyed our stay, and we'll be back. The restaurant was excellent as well.

staff were absolutely superb and went the extra mile for my wife and I who had lots of requests :) beautifully renovated hotel, lovely rooms, great food. can't speak highly enough of it!

I was there for University Practical's for 4 nights. It was long days and long nights of studying. It was nice to come back to room every night it was clean fresh Towles bed made amenities replaced. It just made things so much easier. Even though I had an issue with my credit card which was my fault it wasn't a hassle got it fixed there was no rush or issues from there side must of known I was busy and allowed me to get it sorted. Friendly and supportive staff. I will be staying again on my next lot of Uni Practical's

The rooms are small and the towels were small and thin. For the price and reputation I was expecting better.

We found the room, staff and breakfast great. Being a Monday night the dining room was not open and the options nearby, except for a hotel were not great options. Very isolated in a mall setting at night

Art Deco tastefully done. Very nice hotel. Dinning area is very nice and the food was excellent, good service from the friendly and efficient staff, particularly Kate who was on the ball with everything.

An absolute gem. Would hold its own with most big city hotels. Attention to detail with the restoration of this Art Deco building is fabulous. Our second stay but certainly won’t be our last. The breakfast pastries are the best we’ve had outside of France. Great value for money

The room was far too small and also the bathroom. I have never been in a queen room so tiny. It would be hard for 2 people and luggage to be comfortable in that room. and they were not bargain priced, either!. There was nowhere to put things - only one tiny lamp table - goodness knows where you might eat a room service meal! , and the windows were fixed, and in crinkle glass so one could not see out or open. I felt claustrophobic. Bathroom equally tiny. The rooms had been nicely restored in the Art Deco style , but disappointing to have a large pile of dirty sheets from the previous day? right outsider my room for the full time I was there! Not a good look!! Not much ambience there!

The room was very nice and the staff were very friendly.

We had a short visit to Armidale and stayed at Tattersalls. The room and bathroom were spacious and well appointed. It was quiet and the bed was so comfortable. The decor is clean and uncluttered. We enjoyed the side alley access, convenient parking and dinner at the pizza bar. A jug for water and an extra chair as there were 3 adults would have been convenient but didn’t detract from our stay.An altogether delightful stay we would highly recommend this accomodation.

Wonderful classic deco hotel, extremely well done staff very attentive from arrival to departure. Just be sure to put the address in your GPS, not just the hotel name as the front of the hotel is pedestrian only, and that was my mistake not the hotels!!

Tattersalls Boutique Hotel is a unique experience in the heart of a beautiful town. The room itself was a little bit of luxury and dinner was incredible!

Rooms were clean and tidy. Bed was very comfy. Restaurant was a little cool but the food was great.
