The location was great, downtown, close to basically all attractions and places you’d want to visit. The room was very clean and nice. It had a a stove, fridge and all the other amenities you would need to cook. When we did not find a cutting board and told the staff, they had asked to check again. We did not find it but the staff checked up on us a bit later and brought a cutting board just in case. Pretty neat. Also, good laundry facilities downstairs (quite a few machines, so you don’t wait around. Also FREE which we thought was great!). Overall, pretty good experience.

The only thing that prevented the stay from being perfect is how the first day was handled. We came early in the morning from a very long flight. Very tired needless to say. EVERY other place we stayed at allowed at least somewhat early check in (couple of hours or even right away in the morning). At Sonder we had to wait all the way till 4pm, tired out of our minds. Considering that literally every other place helped us out, this experience was quite ridiculous. That was the worst part. We would have stayed angry and frustrated but the staff later on was attentive and the facilities were great.

The bedroom, kitchenette, and bathroom were clean, modern, and comfortable. The table and chair were good for breakfast/working. There was lots of storage space, drawers and a wardrobe with shelves. The coffee machine and unlimited supply of coffee were a big plus, and it was nice to have the sofa and TV with Roku for evenings in. It is close to a Farm Boy supermarket, which is good for breakfast supplies and has hot food and salad buffet counters for easy dinners, and there are lots of restaurants, take-aways, coffee shops etc within a 5 minute walk. It's also a short walk to the canal via Confederation Park, and close to the river and Parliament Hill etc, nice for walking around.

The window looked onto a tall, narrow atrium for air conditioning vents and got very little sunlight. The kitchen was lacking a baking tray and I don't think there was a chopping board. There were not sockets near the bed for phone charging.

Facilities and staff were excellent. Location was great.

Not many nice restaurants nearby, but Cocotte close by gave us the best meal in 5 weeks in Canada.

Absolutely clean, exceptional location (just 2 blocks from Parliament).

J'ai beaucoup aimé ma chambre! C'était énorme et belle et lumineuse et bien équipé. C'était vraiment un chez moi loin de chez moi. J'ai également apprécié les affiches bilingues, les casiers pour les personnes qui arrivent tôt ou qui partent tard, le salon pour manger, se détendre ou même travailler... vraiment, c'est certain que la prochain fois que je suis à Ottawa, je vais y rester.

Le lit n'était pas confortable et la salle d'entrainement n'est pas bien entretenu (souvent manque de serviettes, il n'y a pas de dispenser de l'eau et ça me semble comme la pièce n'est pas nettoyée au quotidien....)

Studio with kitchen facilities at a convenient location

Payment verification process is confusing, not the normal "Verified by Visa" but scanning your ID and take a selfie by the credit card holder, which does not have to be the person, who will use the studio. This was not clearly mention and caused some headache.

Stayed over the weekend with my 2 young kids. Spacious apartment with all necessary amenities. Very comfy beds. Right in downtown so location is perfect. Also close to the opera's parking which is convenient if you are driving in.

The reception desk was managed by a group of students which was not an issue. But you could tell they were not trained, it looked like it was a summer job to them. It did not negatively impact our stay at all. It is just something to maybe improve. They still did the job, but were not client-focused at all.

The fact I had to pay quite a lot of money for checkin in 2h prior when the rooms are ready and the majority of the hotels give this for free. The reception is unmanned most of the time or with a person that won’t interact or open the door to the costumers

It was clean, the location was outstanding, but the best part was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Kudos to you all! The keyless entry system, the luggage lockers, social room - all add to making the stay special. And location! So close to everything!

The initial registration process with Sonder is a nuisance but with the technology-based security system, it's understandable why they utilize such a screening process.

This is now my third time staying at a Sonder in a different city and it never disappoints. I love the entire concept of Sonder - easy check-ins, heart of the city, essentials in a centralized space, kitchen in your apartment, and everything you need. It's so convenient and comfortable. This particular Sonder was extra amazing though because it had a quiet room, a gigantic room, fitness rooms, and even a games area. So comfortable and perfect for long-term stays!

yo no sabía y habita dos edificios Sonder, por lo cual llegue a un edificio y no podía abrir la puerta, me dejaron entrar pero al final se dieron cuenta que estaba equivocada de edificio y me explicaron como llegar al otro. (muy cerca, solo fue caminando)

Strangly small bathroom for the size of the room. TV was parallel to the bed, meaning you can't easily watch from the bed.
