No online check-in. Even on the 9th floor is was sometimes noisy.

Very nice rooms, also great free breakfast.

The thermostat was not adjustable, the tv would not turn off all the way (the screen stay lit), and our toilet would not flush. Staff was friendly but when we noticed the above, they could not be found to mention issues. Ended up using the hallway restroom.

Room was ok didn’t know if the time of rental there was a $75.00 charge but ok

Well next time I’ll pay closer attention to the details. I booked the hotel as it said close to airport and had airport shuttle. Even though search was specifically for hotel near La Guardia, turns out the hotel was nowhere near La Guardia, it was minutes from Newark airport. An expensive mistake, mainly as I’m not that familiar with New York to understand the distance between airports I should have paid attention to the full hotel name. The other issue was that wifi in my room wasn’t working, went down to receptionist twice to get help, weren’t helpful at all. They weren’t helpful when I realised my mistake about location and getting to La Guardia. For an international traveller this was disaster. No internet and trying to figure out the best option to get to La Guardia. As you have cross town traffic, the trip Takes an hour due to traffic. It was a 2 hr trip from JFK the day before, traffic was horrendous.

we literally arrived at 2 am, thankfully i called to tell the hotel before leaving on plane about early AM arrival, so good to get to room, sleep and wake up to grab breakfast and head to next destination

The staff was very accommodating, the room was clean, the breakfast was OK (room was very small and crowded). However, the room was very tiny and for some reason had a metal base all around the bed which we kept stubbing our toes on. My main complaint is that the room and the whole hotel needed a remodel. The carpet in the room and the hallway was very old and worn and dirty.

New hotel with friendly staff and a good price. My chicken fajita dinner was excellent also. Free shuttle was another bonus.

Good stay

Very pleasant stay. Hotel was in good condition and the breakfast was decent. I only stayed for 1 night because I had a really long layover with my flight, but a good hotel all round.

When we arrived at the hotel, the door to our room broke. Then the toilet was broken the whole time we were there it would not flush flies. Everywhere They offered free breakfast, but the three times we went out to go eat. There was no food in the trays. The staff was somewhat helpful, but I overpaid for the room and I was not happy.

My wife left a chain with her medal on the desk and when we returned to the room the medal was no longer there. We went to customer services and Jade didn't know what to tell me that she couldn't check the camera etc. but I'm sure someone came in and stole the medal.

Concerns: Pick up from airport confusing. Comfort Inn uses their own subcontract service to provide airport pickup service However, they don’t pick up at the airport Hotel Shuttle location where signs point you but at Ground Transportation. Our instructions said ‘Terminal B; Lane 5. This confusion led us to go to the Hotel Shuttle site which was wrong and in a different terminal location. 45 minute delay. Shutte service was quick after we resolve confusion. 2. This fairly new Inn is protected by a tall chain link fence so maybe some issues about location. 3. EXIT signs are prominent but don’t indicate stair well or elevator. Confused us till we figured it out. If Fire Alarm sounded have to use stairwell not elevator 4. Breakfast nice but due to staff being confusion; shut food service therefore shut off 30 minutes early. Service mgr notified and resolved with more hot food and food supervisor briefed on problem. 5. Fire Alarm activated in hotel but False Alarm. But no notification. Until from desk called. Positives: Friendly staff; clean rooms; excellent room price with airport service

Very new and clean. The beds were very comfortable, the staff was very helpful.

This was the most terrible experience I've had with an hotel. Paid over 250 dollars plus 75 dollars for what? To be told i couldn't check in until 4pm, i drove all night to get here for a banquet for a retirement of a local Pastor and had be late for the event, wich started at 2pm. The front desk staff on both shifts didn't care and showed it plainly. We just had our national baptist convention and i will announce at our next convention not to use comfort suites or any hotel that's connected to them. I also will not be using hotel.com in the future.

This was perfect to stay before my flight. Awesome view of the NYC skyline for breakfast.

Excellent for needing to go to the airport early morning. Wish they had a “to go”breakfast, as other hotels do, for people leaving before 6:30 AM. Front desk doesn’t answer the phone & when we checked in, the evening desk clerk seemed paranoid. No one was at the desk when we checked out.

Hotel ran out of food, breakfast fella was rude, no coffee. We booked through hotels.com and hotel did not care about the entire vacationers without food or coffee they paid for, said send messages to hotel manager whom has not made restitution. Carla from Seattle

Great breakfast and great room

Hotel was just refreshed. Walls are a bit thin, but the rooms were nicely done. Shuttle at night was confusing. They run the parking shuttle too. We needed to call for a pickup, but did not know this until we contacted the hotel after waiting 2 cycles of shuttles at the shutlke stop. Morning was easy.

Room was modern, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our stay. Staff was kind and welcoming, and complimentary breakfast was a huge plus.

Overall, not a terrible stay, but not a good one either. I would not recommend staying here if you are doing the majority of your tourism in NYC. It’s about an hour away with traffic whether you Uber or take public transit. Breakfast was very disappointing each morning. Not much for a selection because there was hardly any food each morning. Housekeeping does not come everyday and we did have to call them to get fresh towels. Room was fairly clean. The drivers for the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and back were very nice. Also, the location of the hotel is not in the nicest neighborhood.

The shower had not been cleaned properly. We cleaned it ourselves. It's crazy we had to pay $58 for parking and they didn't move the car but to the next spot over. We checked in around 10pm and left before 11am but got charged for 2 days. That is ridiculous

Very noisy all night long! Roof top restaurant was terrible.

Great stay

I loved the staff and the hotel itself was lovely. The location near transport was great. I wish it had a pool and the location wasn’t as dirty and unsafe feeling. Overall I would most likely stay again.

I’m still waiting for my deposit back and it’s been over a month…
