Chic hotel in upscale Ghariahat area

This is a good hotel, very conveniently located inside the city. The staff are well trained & friendly. The food is good enough.

Room + bathroom condition was good Breakfast service is not at all on par for a 5* hotel that is charging Rs 10,000 + per night! The staff run round you like laser beams to take your food orders but it's not guaranteed that you will receive it in good time. Waited 20 mins for my food order at around 8.30am when the dining area was pretty empty, it still wasn't ready and I had to cancel the order as I had to catch my taxi. I asked for it not to be delivered to my room and 5 mins later, the waiter still brings it too my room! So they don't pay attention to small details. Additionally, if you want a decent Omelette or Masala Dhosa, then it is best that you observe the chef making your order otherwise they will be stingy with the toppings. With the price per night being charged they could consider hiring more chefs for the breakfast service. To all the breakfast dining staff and Chefs, I recommend going to other equivalent 5* hotels in the city , eating breakfast in the hotel and emulate their customer service.

If you decide to travel to Kolkata as a tourist, I can't imagine a better place to stay than Hyatt Centric if you (like me) like to have a solid breakfast, very service minded employees and be able to relax after a day in busy Kolkata. Location is fairly close to many attractions.

Checked in at 2.30am staff were welcoming & helped with our luggage. Went for breakfast in the morning again the staff attended to all our needs. There was an a great deal to choose from the various breakfast bars cooked & continental & fresh fruit.The staff & managers continued to check to make sure we were ok. In the evening we went for a meal a few times again the staff were very approachable & guided us through the menu. The bedroom was kept immaculate at all times. Throughly enjoyed the stay. Thank you to all the staff & managers for looking after us.

The only bright spot was the duty manager Bidisha Biswas. Bidisha did her job as manager and tried to make my stay more convenient. But hotel policies are weird and not much manager can do. But full marks to Bidisha.

It was an excellent stay. The staff was amazing and took extra care of us, including helping us from room to breakfast place every morning. Special shout out to Akash, Sohel, Anirban, Annika, Arita, and the chefs who attended to every need and query we had. Will definitely come back and recommend others!
