The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful with suggestions and accommodations. The room was clean and just perfect for out short weekend. We liked how it was in walking distance to the heart of town.

Staff was very friendly. Walking distance to downtown Palmsprings. My room was nice and clean. This will be my place to stay everytime i come to PS. LOVE the pool.

I never leave reviews - but I have to leave one after my stay at the Dunes Hotel. I had an AMAZING experience staying here. The staff is incredible - super kind, helpful, welcoming, and accommodating - even before I arrived, I felt this way from how they helped me over the phone. When I arrived, it just continued tenfold. The whole hotel is SO CUTE - the interior design to the fun play with colors in the room felt like it gave a perfect homage to the 60s but kept it modern and fun for today. Checking in and check out was SEAMLESS. I couldn't stop raving about how great this place is. Everyone that was in my party said how much they loved the place and how they would definitely come back and stay here again. I want to thank everyone at the Dune for a wonderful stay!

Very small rooms upgraded To the deluxe, I don’t think that meant anything no towels at the pool.

Happy with our stay, pool was wonderful, location was excellent, staff was super friendly. We worked out in the gym everyday, but it could use some more equipment.

The staff were pleasant. Early check in is $25 Easy area to walk around. Room was on ground floor adjacent to parking so a little loud. Not bad overall but would book a higher floor next time.

The property and rooms were clean and remodeled. Unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was not working. At 2:30 in the morning we were moved to another room and again the air conditioning was not working correctly. Made for very uncomfortable night.

Room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. First time I slept in, in a long time. They don’t have complimentary breakfast but several restaurants within walking distance. Hotel is close to downtown yet far enough for peace. We actually drove downtown because we aren’t used to the heat. Staff and housekeeping is very nice and helpful. We will be back.

I had mis-booked my flight to Palm Springs and needed a place for one night. The Dunes was close to central Palm Springs and offered a great price. The pool and hot tub facility was excellent and I was able to get started on a tan a little early. At night, restaurants and bars were a close walk away. I was not traveling with a car so cannot speak to parking. I had not stayed at the Palms before but will definitely consider it on a future visit. It appeared to me that the hotel had recently been renovated. I was impressed with the shower in my bathroom - spacious with a rainwater showerhead. The toiletries offered were first rate along with the air conditioning. Thanks for a great stay!

Little bit older property but very nicely maintained, rooms are very nice!

Where do I begin!? I loved my room, with modern minimalist decor, powerful AC, and a comfy bed! The property was very quiet and I got great rest. Loved strolling through the renovated patio and lobby every day, and the view from the pool area kept me occupied for hours. Despite the heat I even enjoyed the hot tub! Staff was very friendly! Always greeting me and gave great recommendations. They were very accommodating when I registered another guest and housekeeping did a speedy yet thorough job! Outside the hotel is a very well lit and even pretty parking lot! One could have a view of their car from their room if they needed and it wouldn’t be a bad view at all. I felt very safe. Across the lot is Robot Pig—one of the best restaurants in town! Don’t fall asleep after arriving to make sure you get a chance to try! If you miss out, no worries! Downtown is a short walk away—one and a half blocks! There’s even a grocery store across the street—great for car-less travelers like myself. You can’t go wrong staying here!

The good: Very comfortable and pretty room. AMAZING shower head, comfortable bed, cute mini fridge. Filtered water stations near every ice machine, easy parking, lovely seating options by the pool. The pool music was good and not too loud. Staff was nice and accommodating. The eh: The pool needed some attention- it could definitely have used a midday cleaning (by late afternoon it was pretty cloudy and there were bugs in and around it, including a humongous roach). As with many hotels these days there was no lifeguard or staff monitoring, which was fine except when it came to misconduct (people blasting their own speakers and kids running amok, people leaving food scraps on the tables and ground…). It seems like a newer hotel that is still working out some kinks. I go to palm springs regularly and have stayed in many hotels in the area and this one was definitely one of my favorites. I hope they stay!

This is our new go to hotel!!! Village Fest is two blocks over so you can just walk over and enjoy yourself without worrying where to park. The Art museum is near too. They are very friendly here and the rooms are super comfy... Our tv stopped working and they came and fixed it immediately. It went out again but it was time to sleep so we didn't worry about it... We love this place!!

This property was great! It has been fully renovated & was done extremely well. The room felt like a boutique hotel. Check in was super easy & quick. No key cards - you just get a code to get into your room, which i liked. Location wise - it’s steps a way from the main bars of Palm Springs & also downtown shops. I really enjoyed staying here & would stay here again. Only minor thing I’d mention is the pool could have been a little bit cleaner, but not a deal breaker & pool wasn’t gross by any means just a bit murky from sunscreen. Highly recommend The Dunes!

I should have wrote this a month ago. Love the refurbishment. Everything updated. My air-conditioning went out and they wasted no time getting me a new room. Will be back.

The hotel is so close to downtown. We visited the aerial tram and it was only about a 15 minute drive. It was clean and updated nicely. There was plenty of parking on the property.

We really enjoyed our contactless check-in, since we didn't arrive to Palm Springs until late. Our room was spacious and clean, and the rest of the hotel appeared well looked after.

Our first time trying this new hotel! This hotel was in the perfect location within walking distance of the Main Street where all the shops and restaurants are. The staff was very friendly and refreshed our room daily. We booked the 2 bed room and the room was very clean and looked brand new. The pool was spacious and they had plenty of pool chairs and canopy beds to lay under. Great value for what you get and we will definitely be returning.

The pool area was clean but the pool itself could've been cleaner. Our room was clean but unfortunately the AC did not work very well and our room wasn't very cool. We didn't want to move all our stuff so we just stayed in the room. Other than that, the hotel was a good hotel.
