The bed was quiet, comfortable and despite having only two pillows, we had 2 very big thick comfy blankets. Quick walk to shops and bus services etc.

The bathroom wasn't in our room, we had to walk down the hallway to a shared washroom, the shower was cold and the only way to get hot water was to use the taps and run a bath, you could hear every single movement from outside our room and the location was not the best as we heard police every 5 minutes and to get in we had to go through a gate which we passed the first time, unlock a key and when we finally got in, we put our check in time in a diary so we didn't get much interaction with staff, but once you've checked in, unless you want to get interrupted from whatever you're doing wait about 45 minutes until they come and check your id. The self-checking process is a good concept, not good in practice. There were no TV's or any sort of entertainment and the mini fridge in the room was loud. I've been to budget hotels with better facilities than this, we at least got the basics, here we only got one towel and a foul taste in our mouths about this hotel, never again.

Nice quiet rooms that are comfy and clean. The location is great in the city and close to all off the local shops and sight around the city.Great value for money in Norwich you will struggle to find better.

The shower could have been done with being a little warmer. And could do with a kettle in the kitchen area. But they are fairly new I think so it takes time to build things up. Other than that all is to a very good standard.

Location is excellent, there's a lovely cafe just over the road for the hangover breakfast, great pubs very close by. Lovely welcome when we arrived

I like the fact that for the low price how fantastic my stay was no noise double glazed windows kept out noise no creaky floor board just peaceful Bliss And only 20 min walk from the train station

I honestly hand on heart can't say a bad word. The owner and his wife have a beautiful family and humble way that they welcome you into their home like your family, I'm never paying for expensive hotels again Holly Brook will always be my go to for future stays in Norwich

The host was very friendly and accomodated our needs. He was able to provide extra service and tried solving our problems. He made time for us and was open for conversation.

The bathroom and bedroom floor weren't clean. There was no hot water (due to unfortunate circumstances)
