Nice hotel. We stayed here on a layover to Palau. They allowed us a late checkout at no charge. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport and they charge $150 round trip for the shuttle. It’s definitely excessive. The food in the restaurant was very good.

It’s a bit old, and is in need of new toilets. But overall an excellent family resort with children around 5 to 10 years old. Breakfast was crowded at times but otherwise sufficiently good. Pool is large and although a little tall for my son, it was perfect for little children with floating vests. Also the two water slides were fun. I brought a cheap water filter shower head that you can replace the original shower head with, as the water is a bit rough. Also I bought lots of water bottles and kept in the fridge as free bottles weren’t given every day. No need to buy sun screen at local store as they sell everything one needs at the hotel store.

The overall facility (especially the rooms) is old. The number of amenity (toothbrushes, towels etc.) did not match the guest number. Some cleaning staff was not pleasant but rather grumpy. Restaurants inside the hotel, especially their breakfast buffet were overpriced for the menu and services.

supposedly given an "upgrade" only to know that we were thrown into a room beside a room ongoing renovation!!!
cleaning of room wasn't even done at 3pm, we had to call so that room can be cleaned

Check in time is at 3:00. We came at 3:30pm however we were told room is not ready and we will be upgraded but we have to wait because the room is in progress of cleaning. So we agreed. We waited for one hour and a half before we got a room and it is not the room that we were told. Room was dusty. It has feathers of birds on the floor and has a cockroach.
