I did not check in due to Helene. I cancelled the reservation and the Inn refused to refund my money. A terrible experience overall. I will be writing the BBB about what has occurred in the hopes that my experience will not happen to others.

The hotel was super convenient, quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable! The bed was great and the linens and pillows nice. Lots of towels etc, even the housekeeping staff on our floor was so nice and did a great job! The breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of easy access 24/7 great coffee!

Unfortunately we were not aware that we couldn’t stay here because we live within 50 miles.
Nowhere in the booking information was this stated.
The young man at the desk was pleasant and apologized but we were turned away and ended up driving back home.
We are senior citizens who don’t like to drive at night. That is why we like to stay in Asheville when we are going to a play or performance that ends after dark.

The front desk was professional. The room was clean and spacious. However our keys stopped working after the first night and we had to get them fix everyday.

Easy access to downtown Asheville & friendly staff. The bathroom had odd faucet placement at the corner of the sink that caused water to get everywhere every time the sink was used.

There was no microwave oven in the room. Which used to be normal to have.

I very much enjoyed our stay. Nice breakfast and the employees were all smiling and all so helpful. Love staying at Hampton.

Overall it was great. Two minor issues were that we had three people on our reservation and only two towels in the room and the bathroom faucet is so small and close the the edge of the sink that’s it’s impossible not to get water all over the counter when washing your hands.
