After parking and walking all around the building in pouring rain, I tried to check in @ 20:30 to be greeted with the system is down so I cant check you in. I asked how long has the system been down to be told about an hour and no idea when it will be back up. She kept mentioning that its the same with other hotels to which my reply was I dont care about other hotels. I have had a long day and I just want to chill in my room and send off some e-mails. System eventually was back online but I wasnt told about this and by the time I went back to the counter there was a long que for about 20mins waiting. There was no priority into who was being served and the people who just came in got served ! Terrable attitude and customer service. I tried to to complain but was told becuase i booked through expida I have to go through that chanel.

Yep no problem, all what you’d expect, decent service, food was fine, the hotel is in very good condition with decent amenities. Biggest plus for me was the selection of beers by Double Barrelled Brewing which are a local company. Truly excellent beers at a reasonable price, for a hotel.

Im happy except paying £5 for parking because we book through hotel.com.

Room was clean and tidy, we had a fold iut bed for the kids, duvet on that didn't cover the bed, we asked for a second duvet for the kids. It took 2 times of asking for this to come. Breakfast was buffet style and was good. Sunday was busy and needed more staff on. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Room wasn't very well sound proofed, could hear people upstairs and in the corridor outside.

Waitress service was a little slow but besides that very happy with my stay. The walk to your room can be quite far so if you have a walking disability, ask for a room near to the reception/restaurant. Car parking is £5 per day.

Is ok only downside is no fridge only find out when check wish it was inform when make booking also had to py for parking which i think is bad as when i book it said free packing cominication problem

Excellent hotel. Staff were really friendly and really couldn’t do enough for you. All staff were excellent with the kids especially the lady who checked us in, the gentleman who was seating us at breakfast time and the gentleman on reception Saturday morning. All were very friendly and helpful and really made my daughters weekends. Thank you. The girls also appreciated the free hot chocolates and sweets each day and we appreciated that they ate free for our whole stay.

Checking in staff could have been friendlier. Bed wasn’t very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Appreciated midday checkout.

Breakfast was lovely, stayed for 3 day but only had breakfast for 2 days as didnt open till 7.30 on weekends and we had to leave at 6.45
