Busy Embassy Suites. Bar tender was crazy fast and made great old fashions. Unfortunately they wouldn’t let you eat outside food in the dining area.

Everything was excellent, but the air in the room didn’t work

The particular room we stayed in the first night was deplorable. We paid quite a bit of money for a riverfront view 2-room suite. However, customer service was amazing and switched our room the next morning. World of difference!

The room itself was fine but the electronic door entry was malfunctioning. We received two key cards, went to the room and tried each card several attempts before the door unlocked. After we settled in I left the room for a minute and was unable to get either card to unlock the door. Went to the front desk where the cards were re coded but neither would work again. Went back to the desk, cards were replaced but still didn’t unlock the door without multiple tries. Went back to the desk, room maintenance accompanied me back with newly coded cards which didn’t work so he tried his master which also didn't unlock the door without multiple tries. He brought batteries to replace in the lock which seemed to work but we left later and didn’t return until after midnight. Neither of the key cards would unlock the door until after about a dozen attempts. Very frustrating

Well-run hotel with good-sized rooms, nice hot breakfast, and within walking distance of the city. The complimentary drinks and snacks in the evening are an appreciated extra.

Room was decently clean. The room had no been vacummed and that was clear. There was also a broken bottle of conditioner off the wall that was just put into the little holder in the shower. Should have been an easy fix just looked bad. Also the water hardly got above cold in warmth level. But with all that being said would visit again.

Everything in the property was good

Arrived at check in and my room had been given away. I called and confirmed earlier in the day that my room was still available and to let the staff know I am driving 5hrs to them. The gentleman tried his best to get me a room. After 40min he did get me a room. The room was hot and ac was blowing warm air. The drain plus was broken in bath tub. Stains all over the furniture and floor. Ceiling had dust balls on it where the vent was blowing air. Vent in shower was broken and exposed. The view was nice. Breakfast was ok. If every room wasn’t booked I’d most likely go back to the Marriott. Pool was disgusting and me and my son are still sick from being in it. Most likely to never stay there again.

Hi there. This hotel has allot of potential but I have stayed there twice in the past year and conditions were the same. Our room smelled musty and our temperature was set to 60 but room stayed at 74 degrees. They are such nice rooms and is a nice hotel but it needs some tlc. The free breakfast and drinks at night were a nice added plus, but lines were long and things were broke (soda, juice) machines, I'm sure creating much more work for the staff that already seemed to be thin on a holiday weekend. I would suggest giving people who stay two drink tickets VS showing their card. The line might have been shorter and probably more cost effective. I did hear people taking about flooded rooms and no air. Good refurb in some key areas could make this an awesome hotel.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. My family and I arrived at hotel and checked in. We got to our room and room was hot (81 degrees). We just thought the AC was turned up so we adjusted it. About an hour later still not cool. I went to front desk to talk to them since our room phone wasn’t working. I get there and a different person then the one who checked us in said they knew rooms were hot and did I not hear them announce that AC wasn’t working and was being worked on and that the phones were out. I informed him I wasn’t told this at check in. They said they were actively working on it. We decided to go out to eat and see if when we got back it was better. We arrived back to hotel. I then spoke with another person and asked if we checked out and went to different hotel if we would be charged since we had been there for 3 hours they said we would get charged an early check out fee. He told me that they had just fixed the chiller and the rooms would be getting cooler. Long story our room never got cooler still stayed around 75-80 degrees. The room itself smell musty, had cracking in the bath tub and just was very dated. We were told that at checkout if we were uncomfortable they would issue a discount but because I booked through a third party I would have to contact them for discount. Horrible horrible experience. Would never stay there again.

We had no a/ , our room was 76 at night, phones didn't work, sink leaked and the room smelled strongly of mildew. At $220 per night, bad deal.

Somehow my reservation was cancelled but the staff was outstanding. They went out of their way to assist. The people at this hotel are fabulous. The hotel is very old and could use an upgrade. The room was very average. The food at breakfast was great. Overall a pretty average hotel these days.

Reserved a 2B suite. Checked in late in evening. Room was not clean clothes were still in drawers. Toilet would not flush. Night desk clerk was nonchalant and didn't apologize nor initiate effort to remedy. No stationary engineer or handyperson on site to repair. I asked for another suite or two adjoining rooms, none available. I was able to move to a King suite. I had to remind the clerk of the lesser rate for this room. The hotel is in desperate need of refresh. It has lost its luster. Carpets deeply worn in hallways, etc. The redeeming factor is hotel is next to Honey Unhibited a lively and exciting restaurant with tasty menu selections and great vibe.

Previous occupants caused damage in the bathroom, which had been partially repaired: shower rod had been nearly pulled from the walls, two pump dispensers had been pulled from the wall and sat on the bathroom counter and the sink was cracked. The bathroom fan was not working. Housekeeping was nearly flawless, though I did find some missed spots behind doors. Otherwise, the room and property was very clean and seemed well maintained. I would stay again without hesitation.

At this hotel the morning breakfast was fantastic! The manager's reception in the evening was equally as nice. My only concern with my stay here was the age and quality of the maintenance of the room. While it was serviceable and met the needs for spending the night, things like shower handles coming off in your hand and poor water pressure we're disappointing.
