We had an excellent stay! The room was very clean and really spacious. We loved the little kitchen area with mini fridge and microwave. The counter space was nice and the stools at the breakfast bar were really convenient for eating in if you wanted. The beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water for showering. Great location and parking. We had two shows at Mohegan Sun Arena, visited Mystic Aquarium and Waterford Beach. All were within 15 to 20 minutes away. Would definitely stay again. Great value for the price.

Great room with kitchen area that included an island and stools with an additional sink. Separate living room area with lots of seating. Room was VERY dated and showed many signs of old age but was very functional.

Felt like it was still 1970s, since smoking is still available while place has that stale stench in halls.

The property is old and needs to be refurbished, but the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Bathroom light didn’t work well and there was an awful smell in the room. Overall, the price was right for what you got.

The staff was very nice. The property was someone run down. Doorknob to outside side door was completely missing. The halls were worn, and the deadbolt to our door did not work, but we had a chain lock. Rooms very very spacious, and clean. Hotel had a strong smell of smoke in the hallways and eking through rooms. I would stay here again based on the price and my expectations were not for 5 star service.

My stay at Gold Star Inn & Suite was very comfortable. The room was spacious and quiet with a jacuzzi and cable TV. Their is a shopping center in the area and a lot of nearby resturants. Very nice Inn.

The room was clean. Very warn out needs updating and some extras like coffee maker, maybe glasses for water. There was a stove top but nothing to cook with or dishes. But it was clean and had a Livingroom so for the price it was ok for one night.

I have stayed here many times. Very affordable even in the weekend. About 15-20 mins from the casinos. No breakfast. There is a great pizza shop down the street. Good food 💖

Some white paint and curtains, bright bedspreads and rugs would make this place look like a real deal. As is, it’s dark and dreary with not even a coffee maker in the room makes you feel like your business isn’t valued.

Worth the cheap price in that it was clean; however it was old and dated and just looked and felt so dreary. Some white paint and curtains, bright bedspreads and rugs would make this place look like a real deal. As is, it’s dark and dreary with not even a coffee maker in the room makes you feel like your business isn’t valued.

The living room was huge. The King sized bed was VERY comfortable. We had a refrigerator with a freezer so we could keep a large amount of food, safe. The Inn is just a short distance from some very good restaurants, a Wal-Mart, and a Stop And Shop grocery store. And, the price was right!

If you are looking for a place to sleep and that's all this place is fine. And the Ice Machine does work. I saw some reviews saying it didn't. When I walked in I checked out the room. The only obvious negative was the Microwave. The handle was broken. And it seems to be like that for some time. The AC units worked fine. The room had a lot of storage spots for clothing. Regarding the staff I really didn't talk to them outside of mentioning about the handle on the microwave. For a 2 star spot it wasn't bad. There is an elevator which worked fine. One thing i noticed that the hallways and lobby have zero AC at all. So if you wanna stay cool, stay in your room. Parking was fine. For the price I have no complaints

Great value for money. Facilities had everything I needed at a reasonable price. The staff was very pleasant and all in all I enjoyed my stay.

Decent little hotel. Needs some maintenance but well worth staying for the price and it’s just a few minutes to the Navy Base. We stayed here for our daughter’s BESS graduation and it worked out great for our family.
