Absolutely beautiful and luxurious place! Very convenient location to Central Park and 5th avenue. The restaurant inside is great! There is also a buffet option for breakfast, but preferred the restaurant more. The hotel definitely needs some sort of renovations, like changing carpets and sinks. But overall great experience!

Enourmous rooms for Nyc. Loved the old character of this hôtel. For a fairmont operated hotel, would liked more kid friendly restaurant and activities.

This place was amazing. Right in the heartof Manhatten. Architecture was beautiful. Words cant even behin to describe how beautiful this property was. Icould walk aound and just get lost i. It. I felt lije i walked back in time. From the moment i stepped insude. It literally took my breath away. The flower arrangement at the front entrance wascall made with real flowers. The staff was super helpful. Everyone was so nice and inviting. I would definitelycome here again. .

The hotel is magical ! I highly recommend getting a room with a Terrace ! The Staff was wonderful , the Bed was very comfortable and the room was clear , fresh, and quiet ! Definitely will be back !

This is a bucket list stay! If you can….do it….you will not regret it!

We booked an Edwardian Suite, which is advertised as having concierge/butler service. Nope. Non-existent. We were not contacted by anyone offering anything and all of our discussions with the concierge desk were utterly useless. The hotel itself is great. But stay there for the facility, location and other staff (bell and cleaning were first rate). Quite surprised how utterly disinterested the guest services people were towards us. But we made our own fun in NYC.

the stay was comfortable and very quiet. Stayed on the 16th floor.

Property is in an excellent spot to enjoy Central Park and 5th Ave shopping. Service was very good. Unfortunately, during our stay the exterior had scaffolding hiding the beauty of the architecture and the adjacent fountain was closed and walled off for service. Our room was very spacious (especially for NYC) but the carpeting and chair upholstery were both stained in several areas. Common areas feel like they could use more light. Overall, the Plaza could benefit from updating the interior in general. We had a pleasant stay but feel like this place might be coasting on its reputation from years past.

The terrace shown in the photo when I choose this property was not the terrace connected to the room I was in. Disappointment in the property inability to provide the correct room.

Comfortable. Clean , look under the bed and you’ll probably find a ball of dust, forgotten socks or name tags at a conference under the television console. I didn’t complain. It all depends on the background of the maid. Some are not very detailed but they try.

We had booked our hotel through Hotels.com. When we checked into the Plaza hotel in the morning, the receptionist was unable to find our booking initially. We sat down at the hotel lobby and had breakfast. She came to us that she had found the reservation and we all set. It was a prepaid reservation. When I returned back from the trip and was going through my credit card postings, I found out that the separately charged me for the same nights under Plaza hotel . I was double charged for the reservation when I called them and the night manager was really rude. They wanted me to call Hotels.com and get the refund. He told me that somebody will call me in the morning who is the manager, but I never received the phone call. This is so bad as I have stayed there at least three times in the past. I will never stay at this hotel again because the Front Office is inexperienced and they have caused us suffering by double charging us, I hope you guys read this review and Never stay at Plaza Hotel.
