We had a wonderful time, Chris H., Irish, LaShunde H. and the bar tender gave excellent customer service. The hotel was exquisite in its choice of decor and the artist that provided wall mural paintings and sculptures were amazing and mesmerizing. Chris H. went above and beyond average customer service. We will definitely visit again.

Overall, the hotel was really nice and offered a lot. The room was also really nice and clean, and the bathroom and the shower was huge! I loved that! However, the only downside was the parking. First, it can be very hard to find the hotel, especially at night. They do offer valet parking, but you have to manage to find a parking spot some where in the front of the hotel on the street (So if you are in town during a weekend or a busy event day, this isn't going to be easy) Then, once you park, you have to go inside, check in, and tell the front desk you want you car valet parked. They should have valet outside waiting for you to pull up so it is an easy transition from your car to your hotel. At the time of my stay to valet park your car was $42.50, which is billed to the room. They do put a $60 hold on your credit card at check in, and the parking is taken out of that at check-out.

The room was OK, It was small and only had a safe, an old safe, no other amenities. It needs updated, all the figures were old, like the thermostat. It was from the 80s! The absolute worst was the valet service. That service was half the cost of the room! It was $40 plus $24 dollars in fees! This was not mentioned at check in. We only needed a room for the night, and found a good deal on this site, but the valet service made this stay not worth it.

The hotel smelled weird, not very clean, only one elevator was functional, the mattress and pillows were super uncomfortable, no water fountain or ice machine in floors, no coffee maker in the room… only good point was the location… I don’t know why the ad says it was a 4 star hotel? It’s like a bed and breakfast place with no breakfast…

The front desk were very kind and welcoming at check-in and check out. This was a quick trip since we were going to a concert and I’m so happy we landed here! The room was spacious, the natural lighting was perfect and the size of the bathroom was perfect. This hotel will definitely be our spot to stay when going to a NO concert,

Overall ambiance is gives you a relaxed feeling and an appreciation for art and architecture. The bar serves amazing drinks and is fun to sit with friends/family and experience a cocktail bar style atmosphere in the heart of your hotel. Best bar in my opinion out of all the bars in the French Quarter. Rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Area is quiet and 1 block away from canal st that leads into French Quarter.

I loved the staff and how close everything was in walking distance. It’s close to Bourbon street but far enough to where you can sleep and not be disturbed by the noise. I loved it here!

The rooms can definitely use a facelift. Also the lobby had a terrible smell of sewage. We did enjoy the patio our suite had, however. Also, the area is a short walk to a lot of restaurants and attractions.

This is my second time staying at IH. Both times were terrific. Quite posh contemporary hotel. Staff is great and I honestly cannot find anything negative to say. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be staying again next time I’m in Nola

The 1st night my daughter and I were in our room at about 1:30am,I went to the bath and slipped and fell on water that was leaking from above. I immediately contacted the front office to have them check the room above me. It wasnt coming from their from, apparently a pipe had broken.The night staff only grabbed some trash cans to catch the water and said goodnight. The next morning, a woman name Liz that worked the front office offered me a different room and we checked it out and i was ok with that room & we went to change room she said oh sorry that room is checked out for that day and showed me another room with a Terrance.I immediately didn't like the room because the rm i had was in had a bdrm separate from the living space, the Terrance room was 10X's smaller than the original rm i had. I felt pressured to move room especially to a room that was nothing compared to what I had paid for nor what I had wanted. There was a reason why i didnt get that room in 1st place becuz of the lack of space. Felt extremely cramped and was not as beautiful as the 1 i had originally booked and the room that I was moved into cost less than the 1 i had booked. Like about $100-150 difference. But liz in the morning staff at the front desk was amazing and she tried her best to accommodate me. I just feel that I should have gotten some of my money back due to the room change and the size. Liz was an amazing staff and she strived to satisfied me but her manger would only allow her to so much.

As always, the International House did not disappoint! Clean and comfortable room, and the upgrade to a panoramic view king was a plus!
