For an older property it wasn't too bad. Bed was clean and comfy. Bathroom tub could use some love. Little pricey for what it was but location is everything.

The hotel is very nice, very clean and close to the beach and the boardwalk. It is very easy to go out and walk. Everything is close. The only thing I didn't like is that they don't have parking at the hotel. We had to go to a public parking lot, 8 minutes walking from there. Apart from that, everything was very nice. They should just let you know when you book that they don't have parking at the hotel, so you can take that into account before you arrive. We arrived very tired and had to go look for public parking and then walk back to the hotel. Apart from that, everything is very nice, very clean and close to the beach.

Had a nice stay! The location is unbeatable and the views are awesome :)

I had requested an upstairs floor room well over 24 hours in advance, but still wound up with a first floor room. Apparently I was under the busiest room (21) because we heard all the noise. Lots of traffic noise too. Housekeeper knocked twice on the door with the do not disturb sign on the door knob

It was really close to the Pier and the Beach which I was happy about. Most restaurants are walking distance . It was a nice stay .

It had been 38 years since my last visit to Santa Monica, but it was still a great place. The hotel was just right for that.

When we arrived there was a urine oder. For a little while and it dessipated Thank god Maybe a homeless person pee And when i look out the door a junky was getting is fix on the street wher there is a door at the other hotel, thank god the kids didn’t look out the window. So a rough start

We paid a fortune to stay at Sea Blue Hotel and it was very convenient for the beach and pier. The room was not great though - a comfy bed, but the bedspread and towels were greyish (meant to be white). The mini fridge was not very cold and the bathroom was dirty. There was a long black hair in the wash basin and the tiles were very dusty. This hotel needs some care.

All staff were friendly and some gave valuable insights about the area. Room was clean and spacious enough for four people. The bathroom is on the small side. For a double queen room, it makes sense to add at least one more luggage rack. The air conditioning is barely felt because it is located in the other entry area facing the bedroom but the vents face up nit straight. The fab in the room helped but was too much at night as we got dry throats middle of the night. Need a different type if ac unit to face forward. It is old so could replace with a better designed one. The direct access to the beach through a courtyard has two flights of stairs. It locked feom the outside to prevent people entering. So going back to the hotel, you need to go up the side street which is steep for handicap person. Use a different parallel street. The store has common necessities and beach towels with the hotel name. Surprisingly, it was quite at night even on a main street. Would stay there again.
