The room was amazing, great view, very comfortable bed and perfect size for 2 the kitchen had all the amenities. So just perfect in most respects. TV, need an upgrade to smart TVs, you can’t even watch a movie or Netflix etc. not a big deal but it would be nice. Carpets in hotel hallways were dirty and had these odd ribs in them so when anyone pulled a luggage dolly down the hall it was very loud and could be hear from inside the room. Other than those 2 petty things, the stay was fantastic and we would stay there again no problem.

It was a nice stay and the outdoor pools were closed and the front desk lady gave us another access card to the indoor pool in eldorado. Our room was facing the parking lot but it was quiet. Of coz it would be nicer if facing the lake with higher rate.
Pools were okay, have sauna in Manteo and Steam room in Eldorado; however, always out of towels. Just let the staffs know and they are very helpful.
The only unpleasant thing was a group of guests living in a Villa next to the putting green, smoking weed. It was also next to the indoor pool entrance and i was going in and out the pool with my kids. It should be a smoke free area, isn't it?

The property is beautiful and very scenic. However we are on the pet floor and the hallway carpets make you wonder if you are in the right place. Incredibly stained. Leaves a terrible impression for a high end hotel

The hotel is in a pleasant area with excellent views, and the staff was outstanding. However, the rooms felt a bit outdated, especially the bathrooms. The hallway carpets were stained, very old, and had tears throughout.

Housekeeping was poor, our kitchen was left untouched twice, and we had to call to get someone to clean our room when we came back at 4 pm and it was still not complete (this happened twice).
