Check in was real slow; it took 2 staff members to check in 1 room. I waited for about 10 minutes for the desk to check in the 1 room ahead of me. When it was my turn to check in, they informed me that they didn’t have any more of the room I booked….I booked more than a month in advance. Not sure how that happens. It wasn’t a huge deal since I was traveling alone and a queen bed was fine, but still. I booked a certain room, honor my booking.

Breakfast was not good at all. Lots of empty food items and no waffles. No hot water for the oatmeal so couldn’t even have that. Needs improvement.

Very clean and quiet. We would book again. Go to grayling once a year for an event so will book again. Only thing I wish they would add is fresh fruit an a few more options on their breakfast.

My room all night all i heard was the ice machine i kept getting woke up from it. My door had some kind if drink splatter all over it, it looked like either coffee or pop i ended up having to clean it myself. I didnt check in till after 9 pm. This was the loudest hotel i have ever heard. Im on 4 hours of sleep from the ice machine. Im so glad im home

We eere on the first floor and it sounded like a herd of elephants above us for all four days we were there. The breakfast was substandard not nearly as good as Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn. After just one morning with their breakfast we opted to go to restaurants for breakfast during the rest of our stay.

This is a nice, basic hotel that suited the needs of my son and I for a value priced hotel for a night in northern Michigan.
Not many frills, and an older property, but a decent breakfast and very friendly staff. The location is in a safe area and in a great location next to I-75 and lots of food options.

Mattress support appears to be made of sheet metal. The mattress slides very easily on it & the metal has very sharp edges. My husband cut his leg setting on the side of the bed, it was reported to the front desk.
