The hotel sent an email canceling the reservation as we were flying to the destination without any explanation. Once at the hotel they finally gave us a room. The water in the bathroom was either hot or scalding hot. The hotel had to switch our room the next day. The concierge was completely unhelpul, but the front desk was more helpful.

Have stayed at La Cantera numerous times. Very nice hotel and golfing. Close to a lot of attractions and things to do had a little bit of a rough start, but was corrected when they moved our room to a quieter area. Hotel is under construction.

We did a long weekend here. Enjoyed hiking on the property and nearby at Eisenhower park. Room service was good, and staff was very helpful.

La Cantera staff were attentive and courteous. Coming after Labor Day meant not a lot of people so it was extra relaxing. Room cleanliness was excellent - the room was cleaned daily and any extras requested were provided.

La Cantera is truly a get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The resort is quiet & peaceful with breathtaking views of the hill country. The spa and various pools are top notch.

This was our first time staying at this resort and O must say.. EVERYTHING about our stay was phenomenal!! The 7th floor is definitely the way to go. All inclusive while everything being so convenient. 10/10 recommend, we will definitely be back!! We loved the spa, happy hour, and nature views were breathtaking. The whole staff was very accommodating and good vibes all around. Thank you guys for everything, looking forward to coming back.

My wife and I have been to La Cantera 3 times over the past 5 years and it just keeps getting more and more expensive to stay here. Very expensive.
The resort and accommodations are excellent.
The service around the pool areas leaves much to be desired. Several waiters kept telling us that they were understaffed.

For the cost I feel like the facility needs to be renovated. Areas of the hotel and our room smelled musty. Wouldn’t recommend for the price point.

The resort, amenities, rooms, etc. are absolutely great! This was our third time here. The only part that wasn’t great was the service by the pool. Except for one sweet lady, the servers that walk around would either forget about you or just ignore you. We ended up walking up to the bar to place any and all orders. Obviously a super bougie complaint and walking up isn’t the end of the world, but when the service was good, the convenience with kids was amazing.
