This room of the hotel looks decent but I wasn’t comfortable during my stay here. When you turn on the sink the water sprays everywhere! They really need to adjust and fix it. That means the counter of the sink will be all wet. Also it was really hard to sleep at night since the ac is super loud and makes this horrible noise since their ac units are old. The restaurant was average and the workers there aren’t that friendly. Super outdated property and in need of an upgrade. I would recommend staying somehow else.

Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay
Geolineandre This is my second visit at Wyndham Grand, Phuket at Kalim Bay since pre-Covid. This has been the best birthday/holiday hands down for me in my 44 years. I would like to recognize one particular staff who has gone above and beyond his duties for making this by far the best memorable birthday ever! From my first day of arrival l was greeted by (Van) Pongsak Pushkin, I can't say enough about this wonderful man, thank you for giving me the best experience ever!! Van made my first day of arrival until my last day at check out, an amazing experience.
Van was very professional and showed concern for every guest, he listen to my concerns and work on them
immediately, even went out his way to make my 44 birthday memorable. As a solo traveler from Miami, Florida, I haven't came across customer service like this in years. The staff were friendly and treated me like family, I especially enjoyed how the staff called me by name or room number as they greeted me. I felt that was a nice touch to the whole experience.
Best experience, hands down, would highly recommend staying that the Wyndham Grand in Kalim Bay, Phuket

The property is beautiful. The location with a vehicle is close to many activities. I enjoy how easy and convenient it was an access a taxi/car. The hotel staff overall was wonderful. I enjoyed both swimming pools, even though I had a private pool. The spa was absolutely wonderful.

The distances between villas and lobby is far and can not be walked due to steep roads. you have to organise a hotel car to pick you up from villa to lobby and vice virsa every time as taxies are not allowed to drop you off to the villa. Very inconvenience when you travel as a family.

I liked my stay at Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay a lot. The front desk area is small and was crowded when I first checked in. In my opinion, it didn't give a great first impression but the staff were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had in a hotel to be included as part of my room price. The room was great with an awesome view of Kalim Bay. The hotel is oddly laid out with various buildings and levels but I didn't mind it. Oh, and location, location! It's just a few minutes from the beach and town of town Patong. A huge plus! Overall I recommend this hotel.

Checking in was much more difficult than it needed to be. We had to fill out multiple pages of information before being asked for more money just to get our room key. Thankfully it was refundable but it would have been nice to know since we needed to withdraw more cash. Checking out was also frustrating as our flight didn’t leave from Phuket until 10 pm and the latest they could give us was 1pm.
The bathrooms were also very small and the water pressure and temperature was inconsistent.
They were also trying to sell us on their membership. They called our room multiple times(once while we were still sleeping) and then asked us to come see them at the front so they could try to convince us to pay more money for benefits we didn’t need.
