I recently visited the Dominican Republic for the first time with a friend, and we stayed at this hotel located right in the heart of the colonial district. The location is unbeatable, with countless dining, shopping, and historic sites just minutes away. The staff was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and fluent in English, which was helpful as I attempted to practice my limited Spanish. They always greeted me warmly whenever I came in or went out. Our room was spotless and well-maintained. While I didn’t indulge in the stocked minibar, it was nice to have the option available. The shower had plenty of hot water, and the balcony overlooking the street was perfect for people-watching, whether during the day or at night. Overall, I had an excellent experience during my weekend stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Great staff and helpful, nice breakfast, clean place and rooms. Close to everything in the Colonial Zone of the city. Very small elevator to go up to the rooms.

It’s a nice boutique hotel. I booked a room for my 17 year old and myself, requesting TWO beds. Apparently they switched the reservation to state the my son was a 1 year old. Why would I request 2 beds while traveling with a 1 year old? Even though I’m VIP on Expedia, I wasn’t offered a room with 2 beds. The guy at the front desk made it clear it wasn’t happening. I ended up having to pay extra for a bigger room. It sucked but we were not about to be uncomfortable for 3 nights. Breakfast buffet was really nice and it’s in a really safe area in the Colonial Zone with lots of places to walk to. No pool but they do have a rooftop where you can sunbathe.

If you don’t mind walking and enjoying wonderful restaurants in Colonial, this hotel is a gem! I enjoyed our stay, my only concern was the internet was spotty and sometimes unable to connect in my room. I had complained to hotel staff, however the issue was still did not resolved. I guess that’s my one take away. Daily Complimentary Breakfast was awesome and breakfast staff was relatively friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again, however request a room towards the front entrance to get better reception with Internet. Thanks for a great stay Hodelpa!

I Liked the localization. It is near of the main points of the city. Also i Liked the recepcionist who scheduled a Taxi to the AirPort for my family

The aircondition units are poorly maintained. We had to transfer to another room because our room was hot, and the a/c was not working.
