All in all we had a good stay . Housekeeping was a bit so-so . Not enough towels were given and had to call for towels everyday .
We are vegetarian. There were not many options for breakfast. We requested for veg baked beans on the first day of our stay . The breakfast in charge told us that he would organize it but till our last day of stay we never got it .
Location is very good .
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful!!

The staff was nice and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The beds were uncomfortable and it was not very clean (example there was lipstick on one of the glasses in our room in the bathroom)

The hotel is not right in the tourist area, but is easily reached within a few minutes. The tram is right outside the hotel, and the metro is a block away. Both are very easy to understand and navigate. The hotel restaurant is good, but limited. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety.
I liked the location and ease of getting around. Would definitely stay again. (American, had no issues with language and was easily able to do what we wanted from the hotel)

It will be good if the hotel made it clear that their main restaurant is an Indonesian restaurant with mainly Indonesian food. The other bar service has a very limited range of food. I will not have chosen the hotel if I was made aware of this. We are not into Indonesian food.

Great place to stay, nice canal view on top floor. Excellent front desk service, excellent breakfast buffet. Only negative - Bathroom floor should have been cleaner, hairs !

We wanted to stay just outside the busy Amsterdam center and Hyatt did not disappoint. Staff and facility were truly excellent. The neighborhood vibe is very young, lots of University building around. Really enjoyed breakfast spots just couple of blocks away from the hotel and there is a supermarket across the street. After a long day exploring Amsterdam and sightseeing it was a pleasure to return to the hotel tranquility.

Centrally located, next to tram stop. Nice hotel, excellent staff, great breakfast. One minor issue is that it is not representative of the dutch culture. It has more of an Asian vibe. It seems as if every hotel we visited in Europe had an Asian or African theme instead of their own culture, which is why we went there in the first place. Some day we will go to Asia and hope that the hotel is Asian and not dutch.

Hyatt Regency Amsterdam was perfect for our 7 night stay in Amsterdam. We loved the location, very walkable to city center but away from the busy central area. We loved it was in a quiet neighborhood but super accessible by Metro and tram which are both very easy to navigate around the city.
The service and amenities were wonderful too. We upgraded to Club access and so happy we did. The happy hour was a welcome treat after long days of site seeing. The complementary breakfast in the main restaurant was a perfect start to the day. There is also a great local bakery just down the street called Bakhuys. Worth checking out for amazing pastries and lunch. Highly recommend this hotel.

You can get a hint of a hotel’s rooms from the appearance of its lobby and this Hyatt is no exception. The hotel is stylish, modern and clean. Our room was very large with a walk-in closet and a generous bathroom that included 2 sinks, a large soaking tub, an even larger, separate shower and an enclosed toilet
