Really nice hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful, the location was a nice walk into downtown, and the room was spacious and modern. Would recommend and stay here again.

Midgartur is like a 'home away from home'. The staffis always friendly and ready with a great recommendation.

We liked the hotel restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The hotel is located conveniently close to the main shopping district, restaurants, and bakeries. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend the Midgardur hotel to friends and relatives.

Very nice staff to answer all our questions. We went early and got in without reservation to eat directly across the street at Reykjavik Kitchen for delicious food. It fills up fast and oddly enough they turn away at half capacity. We had 2nd floor corner view of downtown. Will be beautiful when construction projects are complete. Great location near to rainbow St.

It was excellent quality for the price. Rooms were clean and modern. Staff was amazing. The attached restaurant was terrific. Location was fantastic. Overall a wonderful stay. I would stay there again for sure!

I returned to this hotel for my second trip to Iceland. Convenient access to everything in Reykjavik. The road in front on the corner is under construction, but it didn't impact parking or foot traffic, and we were unaware of outside noise (our room was on the other side). The room was spacious enough for 3. Breakfast was delicious and accommodated both American and European tastes. We enjoyed the spa facilities in the basement. We were able to wear the robes to Sky Lagoon, where other visitors were jealous they didn't think to do the same.

It was difficult to find the hotel, due to road construction and insufficient signage— but once we located it, everything was very nice.

I stayed in this hotel both at the beginning and at the end of a week in Iceland. It's close to restaurants and shopping downtown. It has a lovely bar and restaurant. No complaints at all, except that more parking could be provided.

Excellent stay in downtown Reykjavik! Near to many restaurants and bars.

They need to improve their customer service. Check-in service is too hard. We are a group of 20 and used Expedia to make our reservation. Some of our group received early check-in but we did not have the same benefits. They also received free drinks and we did not??? Because we booked it Travelocity and we are not a premium member. Once again, thank you It is more negative feedback from the front desk representative. One of the front desk representatives I believe she is from Spain argued with me after waiting for at least 4 hours for early check-in she stated that due to the cleaning crew choosing and picking and making the decision in early booking. No urgency on their side. She was very unprofessional. Would I refer my friends and family to stay in your facility? Definitely not. There are a lot of center hotels in the Rejakavick area that I'm sure have an excellent customer experience to offer. I'm very dissatisfied customer.
